Can somebody please tell me what that guy was doing on the missed int? Are his ball skills that bad? That’s embarrassing… he had a pick 6 for 105 yds if he catches that.

I was telling my son that maybe he was so surprised that the ball actually came over there lol

He’s missed like 3 in the last 2 weeks. He missed one at the start of the game as well. I think it’s why he plays CB and not WR. At least that’s what John Madden would say.

He was probably gone if he caught it. Score would have been 20-6 and good chance it never comes down to a single possession.

Ngl imma be hella critical but that’s just plays that get you replaced on a serious team

that’s like the 2nd potential pick six he’s messed up

at the very least he’d have us in fg range if he caught that and ran with it, we won anyway but that def would have been the game changing play had the packers gone on to win

I completely agree. Really good teams replace guys like him. But I guess we can’t do anything about him and Scott until the off season?

I would bet my house he wouldn't get more than 30 yards on that return.

a) he's not that quick and b) if you look at the replay there were two Packers infront of him and the WR was right there next to him

That's why he plays defense.

Unpopular opinion, but I think it worked out better that he didn't.  I don't think he would have made it that far, and that gave us more field to drain clock.

The Mike Jack slander around here is a bit crazy sometimes.  I have seen people claim he is not a starting caliber corner in this league.  That's just nuts.  He's solid.  Ease up.

    • I watched a clip of all the offensive snaps. Young threw into some tight coverage and the guys made some plays on the ball. He also really missed some throws.  He has this middle of the field thing into a tight window pretty good and made three or four nice plays but he was just too inconsistent with his accuracy especially in the red zone. Today and in general.    That Int where people were chastising Legette for ‘not fighting through the coverage’, he in no way could have gotten to that ball. IMO. I think he thought it was going to hit the ground and didn’t see the defender coming for it. But not sure what he could have done. The camera doesn’t show the spatial relationship very well, I think the ball was way off. maybe 6 feet or more off target to the inside of the field.  Rico is a beast. And a very good receiver.   That was my impression without dissecting and rewinding, just letting the video roll. I did rewind the int two or three times to look at that one.
    • My biggest issue with keeping Darnold, which I felt we should have done, is we would still have Fitterer. And everything that came with that.  I think Morgan is going to be good.  Baker, just did not play well at all here. Not sure what else we were supposed to take away from it at the time.  That’s my short ‘I don’t want to argue about it’ take.
    • Even if we somehow make the playoffs we will be one and done so fast. Seattle, Rams, TB, Panthers, Detroit and Philly are all better than us.
