If this team somehow snuck into the playoffs, we 100% extend Bryce. Hopefully this game is the end all be all to the Bryce era and we finally move on. This was absolutely pathetic. Getting outshined and out QB'd at home by a rookie in his 2nd start while throwing for 124 yds and 1 (which should have been 2) ints is a replaceable offense in any other organization.

Bryce has like 350 yards 2 INTs and only 1 TD in his last 3 games... fuging pathetic.

The problem is all those bad wins are also going to hurt our draft position in the end to replace him too.

This whole season has gone about as poorly as possible in terms of our long term outlook.

I disagree. Making the playoffs would have been enough for the Teppers to make the call to extend him.

I'm not crazy about this incoming QB class though. I'd rather us find a vet QB for the time being.

At some point Rico was going to be stopped and the game was going to be put on Bryce. He just showed us what he is. Is what it is unfortunately.

Which is why I am not worried about our draft position. Vet, improve the defense and take a mid rounder.

This team isn't built for a rookie QB. They need to find a vet who can take advantage of the defense and run game to win games they should win. Use the draft to improve the pass rush

You can replace him with a Jag and make the playoffs tho!  We have a good enough roster if we had ANY, ANY ANY!!! QB play.

there were  like maybe 3-4 good throws today he had, meanwhile even completions he had were bad throws.  this was an alltime bad outing by him, no excuse.

Even if that's the case, we'll still likely end up picking in the early teens in the end instead of another Top 10 pick to help build out the roster some more.

I'm also of the belief that Canales should not be brought back either though, which is why those wins become bad.

If Canales deserved to be kept around, they'd then be good wins as they'd help the continuing build of the team.  But once we fire him, that all goes out the window at that point unfortunately as it's starting over again, and those morale boosting wins become pointless.
