Is McMillan getting ROTY or is Shough / Henderson going to get it?

Shough will finish with just 8 starts.  Think he is too late to the party to be considered.

I think the NFCS winner ….. has the best odds of getting there WR the award.  Neck and neck right now.  TMac jumped him this week but the leapfrog back can happen

Henderson was knocked out of this SNF game. Was a non-factor for half the season. Shough didn’t play for half the season. It’ll probably come down to the week 18 rematch between TMAC and Ekbuka. If we make the playoffs that’ll help T-Mac’s case since it’ll leave a better lasting impression. Vice versa for Ekbuka.

If Henderson just got a concussion and will possibly/probably now miss next week as well, gotta think missing 2 games of stats at this point of the year might knock him out as he was only just entering the discussion the last few weeks anyways.  Same goes for Judkins going down today too, and Dart's god awful game likely removes him from the conversation as well.

It will be interesting to see how the voters compare T-Mac and Egbuka if they end up with stats that are nearly identical.

Egbuka burst onto the scene and put up the bulk of his stats early in the year when Baker was playing like the MVP front runner.  While T-Mac was just more consistent throughout the course of the full season (ex. Egbuka has 8 games of 42 yards or less, T-Mac has 4 of them, while T-Mac still scored 3 TDs in those 4 games, where Egbuka only scored 1 TD in his 8).

It would be a shame if they put too much weight on the final game of the season if that ends up being the division decider, as I think T-Mac has had the better SEASON while Egbuka had a better peak output during that first month or so but way cooled off since.

Maybe Warren goes off in the last 3 games (they still play tomorrow), but it does seem to be down to T-Mac and Egbuka right now.

Perfect summary 💯

Oddly, Jeanty has a good resume. On pace for about 1300-1400 total yards. Low YPC and on a fuging TERRIBLE team though.

If you take out the loser tier, I think it's a two man race between TMac and Egbuka which TMac is winning.

Hoping that TMac has a big couple of weeks and cleans house on all our rookie franchise WR records. It is within reach.

The fact he's done what he has with the poo show that is the Raiders says a lot. He gets hit so much at or behind the LOS

    • Like many of the old heads, I’ve been here for a long time.  I got a lot of respect for everyone on this board for your dedication to this team.  We’ve all been through it during the tougher years. At this point in life, I’m not one to judge anyone’s level of dedication, or their reasons why anymore.  Time, and a lot of bad football, will do that.  For me, it’s simple.  We share a common bond.  For that, I love and appreciate all of you crazy SOB’s. For me, last season was at a minimum, entertaining.  BY lead a young team to multiple come from behind 4th qtr wins.  That showed me heart, and that he has the clutch gene.  That’s the wildcard intangible.  For me, that was fun to watch even  if it was mindbogglingly frustrating at times.  Over the past two seasons, we have progressively built a better team around him.  On paper, the defense should be better this season.  That’ll help.  Let’s see what he can do as the other guys continue to develop too.  Besides, his contract is cheap for a few more years, and we just made some smart cap decisions during the draft. Let’s see how it shakes out.
    • Hiring Shula & his Cam save us playbook.
    • I would very much liked to have seen Jake Delhomme's career if Tommy Jone no hurt Jake.  I just know that roster and the leadership were destined to hit paydirt but Jake was never the same after the elbow injury, and unfortunately he was the sole reason they didn't make it back to the big one.  I think that 08 team was the best in the league, and Jake masked his inability well all season til the Arizona game put it all on display.  I'll go back to the season prior even and say the 07 team was primed to be a competitor.  Jake was off to a fantastic start that year (for a Panthers QB).  They may have been a championship caliber club for a few seasons after 08 too.
