I mean Mike Jackson was a complete fuging idiot on that play. Baker Mayfield just scrambled for an easy first and MJ was talking poo in his face like he had done something. You did nothing Mike Jackson, sit the fug down and shut the fug up.

True but I can assure you it happens all the time and is never called.

The one time we would appreciate Tepper stepping up and being vocal is now.

On the other hand, dont want to do it in a manner to bring NFL wrath down on the team as a playoff distraction

Idk about that. If they overtly and obnoxiously rig the Rams game it will look very very intentional.

Baker is one of the biggest poo talkers on the field. It’s probably why Jackson was talking to him.

Yeah but to that point Baker is similar to Kevin Garnett in that he knows that if he can get in your head he can do things like get those flags.

I don't expect Mike to be a pushover, and I do like the aggressiveness, but you have to be smart and not play into Baker's bait either. All things said, Baker will be at home, let's go!

I've been watching YouTube and I can't believe how many clips there are about the poor officiating. There are several people that believe that the NFL rigs games.  When you watch crap like this, it's hard to argue.

I didn't watch the game but the clips make it hard to believe the NFL wanted the BUCS to win. The OPI on T-Mac was terrible and you can't tell me the refs didn't see the Buc player rip the helmet off our player.

Not that it mattered but the first play of the game the flag against TB for taunting is such a crap call too. Taunting has been a recent focal point but it’s a dumb rule.

The amount of adrenaline pumping on the first play of the game and you make an impactful play….idk.

I guess it’s an “all or nothing” penalty meant to keep the civility and trash talk from escalating, but seems like a “don’t hurt his feelings/participation trophy” kind of emo rule.

Yeah random fans of different teams all over the country did not like those calls. One benefit of being the only 4pm Saturday game. Let's see if the refs try it two weeks in a row!

I don’t think the Panthers/Rams game needs to be nudged. I think the Rams will come in prepared and blow the doors off the Panthers either way. If anything, the refs will try to keep the Panthers in the game so it’s not a blowout and it’s an entertaining game

    • A team should do everything they can to prop up their investment in a QB regardless of who it is.
    • I am not wanting to be too judgemental of Morgan over his first draft given the circumstances.  People don’t like my rationale but you know, I don’t so much like theirs either.  I was adamantly against drafting Bryce and very resentful over the extreme (imo) measures taken to prop him up. I feel like Dan got caught in that trap with demands or conditions placed on him to help out the QB and the new Offensive minded head coach.  And my biased opinion is that it was still all Bryce centric. Micro managed and solely focused on making him a viable player after his first disastrous season. Mandated to help the offense in that draft.  I feel like my speculation is reasonable given the climate and situation, and it includes the reasons we didn’t take a C, the reasons we overdrafted a RB and that particular WR. It was totally need based. Perceived needs. All to maximize Bryce.    And if it were me, and I wanted the GM slot of my team that I came up with, I would be willing to accede to the agenda that I feel was in place. The goals he had to meet.  It is pretty simple, just put Bryce’s needs at the center of everything that was done and work your way through it.  I have no idea or inside info, and people have mocked my opinion for it but that is what it is, it still makes sense to me.
