I don’t think XL’s problem are his feet, it’s the mental side of his game that holds him back.

Until he figures out how to be more mentally aware on the field and react accordingly, he’ll never become a useful player at this level.

Yea Idunno, last offseason he went to "route god" w/ Deebo.. kinda looked like he got worse this season lol. Ima give him one more season before I form a true opinion.  Still got hope

It’s mostly a mental/ confidence thing with XL. I don’t think he fixes that in Carolina

He won’t figure it out or become serviceable until we trade him for a ham sandwich to a team with coaches who coach players up

seems to me he is fast, what 4:39 at the combine

he isnt shifty

send him on go routes and let him high point…thats why they drafted him, right

guy isnt a ballerina or a rocket scientist. If that is what they wanted, they drafted the wrong guy

just imo

rookie year XL looked like a completely different player than year 2 XL

I would hope he would influenced by Chad's work ethic. Ocho used to sleep at the stadium his first 3 years in the NFL.

 

but that's a big ask.

Hopefully it helps....I think he lacks football I.Q and the nuance it takes to play WR. I'd give him until the trade deadline to show me something
