Mike Kaye: “I would keep a pretty close eye on {KC Concepcion}.”

If they draft another 1st round wr it will prove they are in over their head as a FO.

I don't think KC is going 1st round.  If we were to get him, it would be in the 2nd round IMO.

This is one of those drafts where the first two off the board are pretty much known, but there's a metric eff-ton of speculation from there. It could be a whirlwind of trades or every team pretty gets the draft to fall in some accordance with their boards.

At this point, I know who I'd like for us to move with, or at least the position, but I have no earthly idea how it will work out. I do know for sure that I'm ready for this to be over and done with. The wait is far too long for the draft.

An actual slot receiver in the 1st would be way better than an HBack who moonlights as a slot receiver and doesn’t play TE, like ever.

My preference tho is probably DL/LB, but let’s get real….if Coker or TMac so much as pulls a hammy, we are fuged.

A dominate defense would help more than a wide reciever in such circumstances

I do think we will add another WR at some point in the draft but a first round pick would be... Frustrating.

Just depends on if/how they use him. The way Idziks talking we might be going more spread offense since Bryce seems to play better out of it. Tmac and Coker are both big WRs a dynamic wr that can actually catch and run good routes could work wonders. Obviously would mean they better hit on their other picks and that wr better be a badass or we'll all be cussing ha

It's already do or die time for Bryce. If we picked three straight receivers in the first round with the extremely expensive offensive line, the 100 yard pass games won't fly

Maybe thats the point?

That too. He's already had more chances than most young QBs, but I think they're going to do anything possible to make Bryce the guy as opposed to finding another one.

I hope it works, but we're 95% sure that's a square peg in round hole experiment at this point unless he has a Darnold trajectory and a killer team around him.

    • I may be way off base, let’s include this in that questions thread, but with the way the offensive staff turned on each other in 2023 I am happy to see anyone involved, gone. I had a bad feeling about Caldwell over it.
    • No poo tho you might could Jenkins for Legette. They got nothing at WR after the big 2 in Cincy. I don’t think you trade away OL depth. Could get a quality player in cuts. Really that 3-4 end spot what you should be looking for is someone who is stout with long arms and can push back the OL in both the run and pass game for others to make plays…. But we signed Wharton, sometimes I think Evero is a fraud ass nerd who should be an analyst at best.
    • you would honestly probably do Monroe Freeling more of a disservice by putting him in a position where is not yet ready to succeed. .we all knew Monroe Freeling struggled at the NFL combine in drills because of technique related issues & would need time to develop  & now all of a sudden before they even put the pads on Monroe Freeling is somehow a starting LT in the NFL ? if he struggled at the NFL scouting combine what do you actually think is going to happen in a live NFL game at LT ? .even our best LT of all time was not ready to start at LT when he was a rookie & he turned out to be a pretty good darn LT by the name of Jordan Gross ...just saying be patient Young Jedis
