Zero killer instinct for Teddy

Eh, Teddy had a coue of atrocious sequences there in the 3rd quarter but showed a lot more today then in past weeks IMO. He still came up short and my opinion remains the same overall but today was more than weeks past.

Absolutely one of his best games as a Panther. We just have to figure out final drives.

Another week, another loss because all he can do is checkdown. Theres less than 20 seconds in the game and you have no timeouts and you're on the 50. WHY THE fug ARE YOU CHECKING DOWN TO THE RUNNING BACK

He was really bad right after the chiefs went up but he played well enough after that.

Today could have been a statement game for him. Not trying to take away from his skills but it seems like he crumbles when he knows the pressure is on him.

True. Good play there but more of the same inability to win the game for us when it matter.

Spagnola loaded up a nearly 100% blitz rate once he saw what offensive line we ended up with. I'd hate to play QB knowing I have 2 seconds to for routes to develop.

Be frustrated about Slye missing a FG that wouldn’t have required us to be in that situation late game. Blame our O line for going AWOL in the third quarter. Blame Davis for running two up the gut and draining 30 seconds off the clock instead of at least trying to run it out of bounds. All of these are viable complaints on the day but Teddy had a great day and actually showed some prime Cam in him on a couple of plays.

I'm frustrated about those things as well.  Frustrating how close were are to being something pretty cool but just not notching the wins yet.  It goes all around, but, yes, Teddy frustrated me here.

The oline is clearly an issue but teddy doesn’t have the escapability to make a big play when the oline is bad. We don’t have the oline or the qb to make those quick shots down field with less than a minute and no timeouts. teddy has tons of heart and the team in general played way beyond expectations.

Ok explain the first minute of the drive then. Want to talk about zero awareness, no timeouts and we’re dumping it for 5 yards in the middle of the field with less than 2 minutes left, lol keep riding the excuses train

First dump of to Davis OK. Second dump off I would’ve preferred him to just toss it over Davis’ head BUT Davis was also the one who cut back inside when he shouldn’t have

Everyone would have something else to complain about if it wasn’t the same story with him on final drives every game.

Throwing an INT or taking a sack makes sense to bitch but I don’t see where the primary blame falls on him on that last drive.

Teddy is a game manager, unless we’re built like the Steelers we will not win the big close games. In the next two years we need to draft a franchise QB. Regardless this team has so much potential and I’m so proud of the coaches and the team in general. Also, SIGN CURTIS SAMUEL!!

    • Well yeah. Last time vs NO if we had had good QB play and half ass pass pro it is a different game. And that is the story more often, in point of fact, than the two or three hero games everyone wants to use to define the player.  That box was so stacked against the run it was basically impossible to break through it, you had to go over and around. It is what we knew was gonna be employed by teams and we were unable to stop them from doing it.    I am real interested to see the first 3rd and 8 and see how NO defenses it in the back end. Because they can look at that Rams tape and learn, but will they have enough fear/respect that it can happen to them or will we need to prove it again before they do?   Most people don’t learn from others’ mistakes and  need to make their own.
    • I like that Tillis is so down to earth  we will see where it goes ill say something controversial on a day that, along with next week, determines the panthers 2025  and 2026 fate  he referenced ‘money ball’, statistics and self scouting multiple times. it really makes me feel that Bryce will be back regardless of what happens over the next 4 games as that is the smart move for financial stability but by no means does that guarantee Bryce anything past that.  They will improve year over year regardless of position or who is affected       however, they will do the appropriate diligence and not cut off their nose to spite their face….it won’t be an emotional decision…unlike us Huddlers….for example, if Young’s happy ass shits the bed today, I’ll be less than pleased ..particularly having seen what they will do and having a bye week.  Brandon Staley is a good defensive coordinator and former HC.  His defense is aging but he can still develop a good game plan
