They may not be thinking QB

Many assume a QB will be the first pick. How about if that is wrong. How about if Rhule, Hurney, and Tepper aren't thinking that at all. Maybe they have a completely different strategy then is assumed.

They signed a QB they believed in. Are they going to kick him to the curb after one crazy season? Think you guys may be disappointed with what they will do.

Unless they sign a FA QB1 I don't see the current regime endearing themselves to the fans bypassing a potential franchise QB in the draft.

You could be right and maybe you are, but if they don’t pick a replacement for Teddy, then the Panthers have bigger problems. That may be the thing that begins to makes me question Rhule as a player evaluator.

Rhule would gain so much respect from me if he decides not to stick with Teddy for as long as possible and actually try to improve the position.

if they do not see the Teddy experience is over, then this franchise has a lot bigger problems and will the entire time Rhule is here

Hurney is gonna Hurney and I really dont want to see Micah Parsons. I know he's an amazing talent, but we have bigger needs than LB.

What if they have no idea whether or not they will draft a qb yet because they haven’t been to the combine and have no clue if a quarterback is worthy of their pick?

Taking a qb then grooming him or if teddy continues to have lapses of judgement put him in makes sense.  If we could have scored ten more pts or not had some turnovers we would have won many more games.

Considering 

1. It came out around draft time this past draft, that our staff and FO were MUCH higher on the 2021 QB class than that one. 

2. We have Bridge (no pun intended) QB here who was brought in who had a Connection with our OC.  Teddy isnt the long term answer.  He only has 2 years left on his deal snd isnt a bad out after next year.

 

 

 

We draft in the top 5, I dont see us passing on a QB.  But dont expect him to start until atleast 2022

Normally I’d agree here, but we were only 5

minutes away from picking Herbert in the last draft. It’s on their agenda to draft a qb high.

Yep. When you are picking top 5 (fingers crossed) and you don’t already have the answer at QB, and you’re approaching what’s regarded as a strong AF QB draft class, well, you do your evaluations and pull the trigger.
