there’s some franchises where ownership has held back any semblance of success:

bengals

jets

texans

probably the three worst ownership structures

no doubt

We need to extend him now to save money in the future. He is the exact type of player Rhule wants. Anderson and Moore can be building blocks for our offense for years to come. We haven’t had talent like this at WR in a long time. CMC in the slot will be lethal next year.

Watson to the Jets talk just got a boost.

Deshaun Watson may have given the first indication he’s interested in coming to the Jets.

The Texans star’s official Instagram account liked a picture of The Post’s back page from Monday that said the Jets should do “Whatever It Takes” to acquire the disgruntled quarterback.

f Watson does want out, the Jets are one of the teams — in terms of assets — that might be best in position to land him. General manager Joe Douglas has amassed 18 draft picks over the next two years, including four in the first round. The Jets could also put quarterback Sam Darnold in any deal and have the cap space to take on Watson’s four-year, $156 million extension.

If Watson’s social media is any indication, he may be open to wearing green.

Deshaun to the Jets, he would be an idiot to accept that. Their skills players are garbage and that franchise destroys careers. Plus the Bills are a monster, the Dolphins are a solid team now, and the Patriots still have Belichick.

Meanwhile the NFC South has the declining Falcons who have old skill players who suck and a terrible cap situation, the Saints are turning the team over to a failed Bucs QB or a gadget player, and the Bucs are a Brady retirement away from being a dumpster fire again.

I’d rather be on the Panthers with DJ, Robby, and CMC. But hey, who knows what will happen.

I can't see Watson doing all of this to get out of Houston only to end up in NY. I wonder if this is Caserio trying to start a bidding war for him since it's likely he's leaving. Get everyone to bring their strongest offer so they don't 'lose out to the Jets.' I wonder how it will play out.

Edit: Also happy for Robby. Life is about more than your job. Making millions of dollars doesn't mean poo if you're miserable all of the time. He's been by all accounts, a great teammate and a huge boost to our WR corp.

Even though the Panthers backdoored their way into the postseason in 2025 as NFC South champions with an 8-9 record, Young's performance was up-and-down.
