I had 2 cousins die to a drunk driver, uncles die from alcoholism, but America has to have there booze ready at a moments notice.

The worst part is he will get a slap on the wrist for his actions. He will still be living the best life while this girl and her parents have to deal with it everyday.

Blame the individual. Not the inanimate substance. Same argument with gun control. There’s plenty of people who drink responsibly. Plenty of responsible gun owners. Place the blame where it belongs...on the individual.

He may not go to jail but he’ll be sued to into oblivion. I doubt he’ll ever coach pro football again.

This is sad. 

He should come forward on his own and offer a settlement. 

As far as jail time, not sure that is going to help. With most people with issues like this, it takes more than jail time for them to hit their rock bottom.

That is terrible news. I hope the young girl has not lost cognitive function as well.  Very tragic for that family.

I feel very sorry for everyone involved. He apparently has a problem. This could have been prevented hopefully he gets the help he needs and the girl is healed only like the lord can heal her.

Then why does Biden want to make it so gun manufacturers can be sued when one of their products are misused? I'm not saying you're wrong, but alcohol kills and ruins WAY more lives than guns and you'll never hear for a call to ban all alcohol.

Back to the topic at hand. I think we can all agree this dude needs to be in jail for a long time.

Which in many states means a second DUI becomes a felony.
