20 years. One ring. And that's b/c Brett Favre choked. I'm still 100% convinced come July, he will come out of retirement. this piece of poo loves the spotlight.

So this is why I cringed when watching the Super Bowl.

When it was clear that it was over, Romo went into a whole "well Mahomes will win a few more before he retires. He might not catch Brady though..." script.

I'm sat there thinking "it's BLOODY hard to win the Super Bowl. It takes more than an exceptional QB."

Marino never won one. Kelly never won one. Manning only won one (the second was won by the corpse of Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos defence). That's three first ballot HOFers right there.

Saints won their only Super Bowl against long time Saints QB Archie Manning's son .. right after Katrina devastated NO .. all just a big coincidence

People say games aren’t fixed, but I remember the Panthers scoring 3-4 TD’s on a single drive that kept getting called back on phantom calls after Katrina.

also can’t tell me the no calls on all the helmet to helmets on Cam weren’t a fix either!

This is why I stopped watching other games a long time ago

    • Damn I liked A'Shawn too. This is basically a heads up we're planning on cutting you move.  Robinson wasn't the best but I loved his attitude and effort on the field. He held that entire dline together when Brown went down iirc..granted we finished that season as the worst rushing defense in modern NFL history.  If Wharton would have performed up to atleast half of his salary last season, I'd feel a little better about it. We do need that cap space though.
    • 13. Carolina is coming. The Panthers are well thought of around the league. Their "process" seems sound. I think their off-season will be very interesting to keep an eye on. They made the playoffs, but they're not yet knocking on the door. (Offense was 26th in EPA/play.) I think it's imperative they don't overestimate where they are in their build. They can't throw a ton of money around in FA to "make a run now". They need to be intentional about building a solid foundation. (IMO) And from what I know about the team... I think they will be. Sidenote: I have my eye on offense there, not defense. They HAVE to leave next season with a strong opinion on Bryce Young. They need to put pieces around him to do that. Can't be left wondering what he would have looked like with "better OL play" or "more pass catchers". They have to know. (That part is purely my opinion. No one told me that.) https://x.com/lindsay_rhodes/status/2027212533417869499?s=46&t=xeIgh_-Vr2aKxBkBJdfnKA
    • Because this DL is completely reliant on Brown being available and being a stud. Without him we were the worst D in history. The Wharton signing last year reeked of desperation. He just isn't a great fit for us schematically and I think we panicked a little bit when we missed out on Milton Williams who would have been a great fit.
