He could, but would be a huge hypocrite as he scrubbed the organization of everything JR as some sort of moral virtue signaling to the community as the new owner.  I guess billionaires can be complete hypocrites though, right?  He can employ womanizers (putting it mildly) as long he, himself, isn't one.  There's the fine print.

please let me make sure I completely understand what you are saying...?

& that is DeShaun Watson is a womanizer?

Feels like a publicity grab. Almost like someone intentionally wanted this lawyer to get his hands on it bc they knew how flamboyant he would be about it.

We’re talking about rape and sexual assault here. This is very fuging serious and this lawyer is doing a Facebook press conference? This is so fuging weird. Not to mention he drunk posts this story on IG at 11 pm at night and talks poo to people commenting that he’s a former marine. The whole thing is a giant mess.

I guess 'alleged' at this point, but if true, calling him a womanizer is putting it mild.  You do know the allegations...especially the one the came out today?  If true, then Tepper would be 100% hypocritical to even think about signing Watson here, civil suit or not.

To me he comes across as attention seeking asshole.

Sorry yall unless Houston comes out hard in support of Watson to try and win him back the idea that McNair did this on a ego trip when he could have traded him is ridiculous, even by their standards. To his neighbor no less, so it's not like he was trying to be discreet.

Yeah. Marines are the most insufferable species on the planet tbh

I would not be surprised if some good ol boys in the Texans organization initiated this whole thing in an effort to get Watson to just sit down. I mean, what better way to make him appreciate what he has now than to ruin the market for him and make him feel lucky to be playing in the league at all?

so I see now....he's guilty until proven innocent in your opinion?

People keep talking about this "not making sense" for the Texans?

What moves have they been making over the last two years or so that HAVE made sense? They get no credit for firing O'Brien after letting him absolutely tank the roster after promoting him to HC/GM.

& moreover the Texans fired O'Brien after only 4 games into the  2020 season.

another hasty move or better yet let's say reaction

Given all that long-time ineptitude, which Deshaun had a front-row seat for...

...why in the heck did he sign a contract obligating him to stick around for additional 4-years?

This is not normal.

I agree to an extent, but when you are trying to litigate against a VERY famous person, why not get your case as much exposure as possible?  Maybe that's his rationale?  If this was Joe Smoe with a sexual misconduct charge, I doubt he would trying this in the court of public opinion.
