Honestly only thing I dislike about this draft is knowing how many times I'm gonna log into this message board and have to read posts from folks who never played sports or get off their couch calling Deonte Brown fat and out of shape

he was fat and out of shape. that is why didn't play well at senior bowl and nearly went undrafted.

if he was 320 pounds he would have been a 1st-2nd round pick

Saw a twitter post about him, comparing him to a Blastoise. fuging had me rolling. Dude is a hog molly and we love them around here.

Have you seen that gif of him running while a play is happening and he beats WRs in effort and even lands a finishing block like 30 yards down the field? Trust me its simply beautiful.

@ellis do you have that? Ive been looking for 10 mins and cannt find that piece of history. Huddler need to update their brains, cause that man can pull!!

True but 4 years without giving up a sack in the SEC?  He has to have some athleticism.

I think this is very noteworthy. I haven’t seen the highlights but it sounds like he handled our first round starting DT pretty well when they matched up.  There is definitely skill there.  Previous regime would have probably traded up to the 2nd to get but with a sixth rounder and it is worth the perceived risk.   At his worst he will be a special package short yardage guy and most likely be very worthy of the invite pick. If he is able to scale back some weight and get on an NFL conditioning program he could be an absolute steal.

It is worth noting what's not included in this measure. Christensen's number probably looks worse if they include arm length with height and weight. His arms are shorter than Jaycee Horn's.

Also, if you move him to guard, he jumps to a 9.97. Playing around with the positions really highlights how explosive he is. He'd have a good broad jump for a wide receiver.

For real, Dude is legit a freak athlete.

BTW for anyone interested:

Cam was a 10/10

Luke was a 10/10

Chinn was a 10/10

    • The teams this 2nd year player (can’t really blame the years before he was drafted on him) was playing were going 100% as most do most weeks in the NFL. The whole argument is about his play during that period and how well was he actually playing. I’m with you on the winning though. Just start winning and fans will get excited. Start getting in the playoffs and winning and we won’t care how his PFF or box score stats look. 200 yards a game to 400 yards a game, start scoring and winning playoffs games and 99% of fans will buy in.
    • Yeah, we are gonna be raw.  Wonnum, for the past 3 years, has been averaging 8 sacks a season (4 in one season when he missed half a season).  I am OK, but yes, they will be thrown to the fire.
    • I like this because it means one or both of the rookies will be thrust into a bigger role right away and we can see what they might be. I don't like this because it just makes our team that much younger and inexperienced.  You need vets to help the young guys learn, I just hope we aren't going too far in the opposite direction.  All our FA signings were guys just coming off their rookie deals too, I get why we're doing it, but having the savvy vets help in other ways too.
