If I remember correctly, teams are only allowed something like five tryout players this year.

If two of our five are going to be quarterbacks, our current backups might have reason to be a little nervous.

Great to see them adding some competition at backup QB. Note that they're also not just settling for old retreads either which would probably be fairly easy to do. They're thinking forward.

Yeah, I think it's obvious that we need to be flipping all the stones we can to solidify that position group.

I've warmed up to the prospects of Darnold - at least to the point of having some hope, but I'm not confident that we'd be okay if he went down. It could get pretty ugly.

They should be. I kind of like Ramsey as a backup. Smart QB just has limited ability. I think he is capable of stepping in a game or two and playing safe football to steal a win/not lose the game.
