Hate it for the guy and for the Jets, but they knew the risk they were taking. He's always been one of those "if he stays healthy" disclaimer guys. Glad he got paid before this. Achilles injuries are devastating.

Major injuries during preseason and practice are the worst.  Hate to see that for anyone. 

I'm always holding my breath this time of year that news doesn't come down that a Panther has suffered a season ending injury.

  That sux. Carl is one of the “good folks” you want to see succeed. He already tore an ACL at Auburn. Worked himself into this contract. He will be back, but it being his Achilles makes it tough to hope for 100% recovery. No matter how hard he works.
