On paper he may not be wrong. But that 2015 had a ton of special things about it that's yet to be seen this year. Of course an MVP caliber QB is the most glaring...

Exactly.  Fair to say the entire roster overall is perhaps better, but even that is way too soon.

Certainly 2015 had a better offensive line and (at least for now) much better QB... Cam will never get the credit he fully deserves for carrying that team to a Super Bowl

And a HOF QB on defense. And a borderline HOF TE.  And two running backs with about 1000 yard rushing each.

Was just on and said that this Panthers team is MORE talented than the 2015 Super Bowl team.

Except for MLB and QB I'd say hes right.  Its a much more talented roster in on the defense as a whole, and with the offensive weapons.  Imagine a prime MVP Cam and prime Luke added to this roster.  Holy poo....

    • We have a Bryce Young problem and until it's resolved it's extremely hard to judge our coaching in any significant way. Canales has made mistakes, as any coach will, but he's also called plays that with even moderately average QB play would result in positive outcomes.  Canales' biggest "mistake" is trusting Bryce at all, but then, maybe he's just ensuring he has a new QB to work with next year.  We aren't the only team where players run the wrong routes, we just are one of a couple with a bottom 30 QB.
    • I thought that too Ie trying to prove ‘look, he cant do it under the lights on the big stage’ honestly, im Not sure he is that bright  then again, how many coaches and  offenses have to  fail to prop up young before this ends  i blame both canales and young for that defensive carnage Monday night   Both of them  …and ill say too, if part of the problem is after 12 games into the season, the receivers are still too deep in their routes then either new receivers are needed Or new coaching or the routes are failures  or the qb or all 4  they have had preseason, mini camps, training camp, practice and the season their coach was a receivers coach and now the OC   and they still cant consistently complete a pass  not a good look he has business being the OC and HC he isnt McVay and he isnt Reid
    • That would’ve been even funnier and really summed up the night given it would’ve been an illegal forward pass.  Bryce is clearly throwing the ball forward to Chuba
