On paper he may not be wrong. But that 2015 had a ton of special things about it that's yet to be seen this year. Of course an MVP caliber QB is the most glaring...

Exactly.  Fair to say the entire roster overall is perhaps better, but even that is way too soon.

Certainly 2015 had a better offensive line and (at least for now) much better QB... Cam will never get the credit he fully deserves for carrying that team to a Super Bowl

And a HOF QB on defense. And a borderline HOF TE.  And two running backs with about 1000 yard rushing each.

He is right. Talent doesn't have anything to do with results. This team is just way more well built all around. 2013 and 2015 both had holes that were just masked by cam and others. Panthers are building a all around great team which is what i have always preferred.

Except for MLB and QB I'd say hes right.  Its a much more talented roster in on the defense as a whole, and with the offensive weapons.  Imagine a prime MVP Cam and prime Luke added to this roster.  Holy poo....
