Lions LB Jamie Collins is available via trade

Young defenses always need a vet presence when things eventually get tough come November and December. He may not contribute much on the field besides rotational depth, but could have a good impact in the locker room.

If the price is right and he's a good locker room guy, I say do it. He does have a SuperBowl ring, which I don't think anyone on our roster has. Would remind me of the Jared Allen/Roman Harper signings.

He always been a athletic freak that could not stop free-lancing, now hes also aged some.

D is playing at the level where LBs dont matter and I want to add LBs (now&future). I just dont think he is a good "fit" for this young group that stick to Snows plan. Collins never followed his assignments, but he had reddick-like freak numbers to cover up mistakes. Even goat Bill could not get him to follow orders.

Only if injuries hit, other-wise pass......unless lions want to pay most of salary and add a draft pick to take him....

Was gonna post this yesterday, as the Lions held him out if practice while they pursued a trade...  but, from what I saw, the Pats and Rams are the only real suitors.

Dan Campbell still refers to him as an athletic LB, but apparently there has been a question with his effort, so they're playing younger guys in front of him and looking to move him.

I thought initially it would be a good fit, but the more I have thought on it, I think Rhule believes in the guys he has here and would rather grow with them then bring in someone else at this point - other than kicker of course.😂

    • I don't really care as much about athleticism and arm strength.  While Murray might be better in that regard, I think Bryce has enough of both to do well in the NFL. The main reason this trade reference is silly is the money and the fact that Murray has been around a long while and hasn't proven that he can perform consistently when the game is on the line.  Bryce has shown that he can play well in the clutch (in the few opportunities he has had).
    • If Bryce can continue the level of play he showed after the benching, then there's a good shot we at least compete to win the division. Tampa is a solid team but even last year in our week division they went 10-7 and will be on their 4th OC in as many years. The Saints are a mess and are in a mist of a half rebuild half still trying to compete mode and will probably be starting a rookie QB. The Falcons are a wild card as they have a really good offense but are we really crowning Michael Penix as a franchise QB after just 3 games?  The only thing I want out of this season is for Bryce to come out and without a shadow of a doubt prove he's our franchise QB. If that happens then most of the fanbase would be happy and I believe we'd be in a good place record wise at the end of the season. Maybe falling just short of winning the division with a chance to sneak in as a wild card team.
    • His daughter's initials are CAM.  Coincidence? I think not
