This is the worst coached game in Panthers history. The 54 yard field goal. Not dropping the red flag when you’re about to call a timeout to discuss going for it on 4th down. And then our head coach literally sent a 12th man on the field to effectively allow Dallas to milk the game away.

the 12th man was a smart move. It was a 2nd and 2 with the clock running. He sent the 12th on the field on purpose, to stop the clock. Dont act like you dont see that...

Billy B in NE did the same trick against the ravens during the dynasty run.

Nothing respectable about a blowout. This game wasn't as close as the score.

It was a 1 score game and the refs handed them a TD and took away great field position from us on a unanimously terrible call. Cowboys are a good team and we were on the road. It was not a good game but really nothing to overreact to. It's not like that Steelers game in 2018. We'll rebound next week and we have a pretty easy schedule in the coming weeks then McCaffrey will come back and hopefully Horn later in the year too. Are we SB contenders? No probably not but we're still in great position and have shown enough to be a likely playoff team -- way ahead of schedule

I am so proud of our Panthers. They definitely kept pounding.

This is going to be a very good team. 1.25?years into a major rebuild I don’t know how you could ask for much more.

Screw all the clueless negative nannys!

GO PANTHERS!!!

The Panthers are a helluva football team.  They took advantage of Dallas laying off the gas late in the game and almost pulled it off.  Much respect to Carolina, they're a tough bunch.  This is the first real team they played this season and they earned a little more respect amongst the masses im sure.

Amazing how the final score came out to a one TD game.

Refs call that fumble and we get the ball back in plus territory we may be looking at a different outcome. Hell, Carter gets Dak on the ground for a sack 1st play, Shaq doesn't whiff on the scramble and maybe its a different story.

Bright side the Saints lost in OT and doesn't look great for Atlanta. HATE losing but we fought back and didn't get blown out so I'll hang on to that for now.

Fug the refs tho.

Sometimes it’s just not your day, whatever the cause may be. Every season that we’ve had a strong team, we’ve had at least one embarrassing loss. I’m not writing off the season. Even with this atrocious line, once we get McCaffrey back we’re dangerous again. We made it out of the first quarter 3-1. We’re playing with house money. Let it ride.

    • Lions were never going Freeling over Miller for the same reason we wouldn't have taken Miller had Freeling not been on the board. Miller is a career RT Lions have a hole at RT, we have a hole at LT. If we took Miller, it would have been for him to backup Moton until he retires and/or we release him, so the best case scenario is it would have been a wasted 1st round pick for at least 1, if not 2 years.  At least Freeling has a shot at playing this year without injury ahead of him, he absolutely can win the LT job if he earns it, but Miller would have never supplanted Moton this year unless he got hurt.
    • What up y’all. I like threads like this where we can stroll down memory lane. I remember the insane amount of site traffic pre-crash when we signed Keyshawn Johnson, 06 I believe. Raging about the Cowboys Christmas Eve loss in 05 (Peppers touched that FG attempt as sure as Cotchery caught it). When I found the huddle I basically had a first born baby, now I’ve got one in college and one in high school. Life comes at you fast, but the Panthers and the Huddle has been a steady constant in my life for many years.  Those who have been here, y’all are cool with me any time any where.    Cheers, genitals!
    • This is a weird post since it wasn’t like we got A’s across the board. We needed a QB and got a consensus top 2 player at that position. (I was pretty vocal that Stroud should’ve been the guy but…)  I think this draft we generally got better value. I’m not particularly optimistic on BY but another year in this offense playing with TMac he really needs to be a consistently average QB at a minimum
