Official Eagles at Panthers GameDay Thread

Thats game ladies and gentlemen.  And if we lose this, I may not be watching until they make some changes.  There is absolutely no excuse that we should have lost this game and Rhule and Brady pussyfooted their way into a loss.  This has been one of the absolutely worst called games I have ever witnessed In my entire life as a football fan and player.  We literally have done everything we could to lose - punting on 4th and 2 near midfield, running into a vicious interior DL on 3rd and 2 when we have been getting our ass kicked all day, another abysmal 3rd qtr that was called like we had a 30 point lead, and kicking a punt with your place kicker near midfield instead of just punting or going for it.

I never even saw this level of ineptitude under Fox or Rivera.

We saw this a dozen times last year. A lot of losing close games was Teddy, but it's looking more and more like a lot of it was also the coaching staff.

This is what happens when you have a below average QB, it’s gonna be like this until we find that guy

All those excuse making people in this thread can go ahead and log off. We deserve this and we are who we thought we were.

Of course we are, we got fans who dont know a cot damn thing about football and just look at the score board and to see if a won or not and cant look at the freakin problems regardless of that see to the shot is gonna catch up to us eventually. Win or lose this teams has serious issuse.

    • I have a hard time imagining us making any changes mid-season no matter how bad it gets. Tepper is impulsive. But a) there's nothing to be gained by making a change 3 weeks into a season, you're already signaling your season is over. Is someone really going to step in at this point and turn things around? Anyone in the league? Or even CFB, because I don't think Bellichick could step in and right this ship. So the best we could hope for, is someone like Wilks to step in, boost morale enough to win a few meaningless games and ruin our chances at a top pick, and then have the wheels fall off again. And b) Tepper has proven that he is capable of learning some lessons. We really haven't heard much out of that clown recently. Certainly not as much as we used to the first few seasons. And by this I mean I think he knows he has a reputation. And no quality coach wants to go and work for the impulsive, meddlesome owner who repeatedly fires coaches midseason. We've already got to be the least attractive landing spots in the NFL with the absolute dearth of talent, conditioning, and playing surface that will keep players healthy. So the best thing to do is at least pretend that he's ready to stay out of the way. So either way, IMO the smart play is you let this play out all season.  Let these suckers go down with the ship, and if a regime change is needed, you wait til the end of the season to make a change.
    • Our O-line being mostly healthy last year I hand a feeling a reckoning was happening this year.
