How are you feeling emotionally?

Of all the Panther comeback’s (Peppers, Moose) this one feels maybe two degrees below the impact of Lebron returning to Cleveland

Many in the fan base turned on Newton (I’m guilty of this)

He was unceremoniously dumped like trash

He was the first national star this team really had

I’m 39 and I’m in my feels today

this has all the makings of a Cinderella story that the NFL loves to promote

Welcome home QB1, these fuggin onions

Excited but things like this always seem to happen with the team….we get news that gets us excited but the results always end the same with it now working out. I hope it does thought because I was as down on this team as I have been since the Clausen days….Cam come save us again

Right now, it's hope.  I'm thrilled to have Cam back.  He's meant so much to this city, team and community.

I don't expect 2015 Cam, but I'd love to see a QB who makes good decisions and throws the ball with some accuracy.  If Cam can help us score some points, covert some 3rd downs, then we will be so much better.

unexpectedly emotional.

i watched cam's last play as a panther with @OneBadCat and it was one of the lowest days of my life as a sports fan.

this feels like redemption. i am going to watch cam's first next play as a panther in person. i am going to cry when they do player introductions. this is such a wonderful day

    • 140 million with over 36 million in signing bonus for 4 years. 110 million guaranteed. Resets the WR market. States the Panthers whole WR core costs less than 25 million a year while Jefferson will be getting 35 million a year. Wonders where teams will start looking to go cheap with having to pay QBs and WRs so much now. They didn't mention how much edge rushers are getting and how that adds to the trouble of building a roster.
    • Very Odd, seems someone is lying about the "love" between Seattle and canales.  I did read some about B.johnson and he said he wanted a stable good job and that 5 out 8 teams that filled this past season, will be open again in three years. I somewhat get his point, but he's lost millions the past two years waiting. Plus great job are never open cause great team don't fire their HCs. He put lots of time and sweat into the lions and wanted to enjoy the good times longer.    I do think tepper made other coaches not want to be here. That all-star staff had as you stated had connections around the league and coaches are no different when someone contracts them and goes " How was it Carolina ??'.... " Love the area, hated the work environment/owner". They did get Brian Callahan to interview and had a 2nd one lined up, but in just one interview titans hired him. I'd much rather had him or just name evero HC instead.  Nobody wanted Ron Rivera either and he interviewed everywhere. No one wants this job..... even the jags got recent SB winning Doug Peterson.... I truly think Carolina coaching rep is in the dump and they fuged up waiting for Callahan. Panic move. This is my pure guess too, Jim Caldwell is the acting/real HC and canales is the OC.
    • I go back to the hole the Panthers put themselves in and his positive track record with getting production from ‘problem’ QBs. Which, we have one.  I go to the idea people were putting forth on these younger HC prospects - that maybe you take a guy early and let him grow and give him all the help you can. Like a QB go figure. I think that is pretty much where it is right now. I think Canales could be good.
