Looks at the calendar.....

Let's not lie to ourselves. That schedule ahead is pretty daunting. We've got games against WTF and Miami coming up that should be breezy wins, but both have had a bit of a resurgence in November. The rest of our opponents are a murderer's row out there.

If we win half of our games coming up, it's going to be pretty amazing. If we win more, then we're playoff bound and could do some real damage.

Yesterday was great and by God we needed that as a fanbase. Where we go from here is still a mystery, though. That ride, however, has gotten soooo much more interesting all of a sudden.

Welcome back Cam! Welcome back CMC!  Welcome back Panthers!

I don't even care. Football is fun and exciting again. I'm just going to enjoy the games we have left. I'll worry about the maybe playoffs later.

I want to see the coaches to continue dailing it in and up, to work with whatever they have on hand and not their vision. Learn about leadership and what great vets bring to the table.

Ruining other teams records is just a huge positive at this point. It's like being recesitated, I'm just glad to be alive because this team was dead a week ago.

The bad juju and aura of this team are different. It felt like the air was sucked out of the stadium after the NE game but the morning air is just different today.

My mock draft tabs on my work computer can take a back seat for a bit.

My dad was never a big Cam fan but even he had to admit yesterday what an impact bringing him back had on the team. The energy and excitement was night and day different.

It's November 15. Officially mid-november and the Panthers are right in the thick of the playoff race with a head full of steamy excitement and a huge game coming up.

God damn it's been a while since we have had this.

Wouldn't it be nice if Washington was put on notice?

Hmmmmmmm. I wonder who used to do that?

I think it's time to take the mindset of our December schedule being unwinnable and throw it out the window.  I watched the Bills put up a grand total of 6 points against the Jags last week.  The Bucs seem to be extremely vulnerable right now, especially that defense, and our swagger is back.  Confidence on offense paired with our defense is a scary concept for the rest of the league.  I'm feeling a 10-7 finish.

    • I don’t remember Mills from the USFL days just when he was in NO.  But when you saw Smitty it screamed oh yeah, this guy has something. Immediately. So, have not seen anything that dramatic with Young. All I know about him says he is solid with his character and smarts and don’t see a lot of that translating into screaming he really has something. I think the people that say he could possibly acceptably run an offense designed around him, with top flight talent in support, are probably about right. But I can’t see any Pro Bowls or lofty accomplishments in my crystal ball.
    • I thought I read they’d still be there but as a backup in case of malfunction.  So it’s not so much a goodbye as it is they’re being sidelined (I’ll see myself out)
    • Their forecheck is relentless because they are so physical and heavy.  It’s just a perfect mashup for how they play. Florida before Paul Marice played just like us. Speed but with finesse.  Paul made them but into playing heavy. They went and got players that added to that style he wants and it works.  Plus they have the best goalie in the league.  That helps more than anything. The canes have got let Koochie be their guy he will never become the star that most think he will if rod keeps sticking with vets that flame out.    1. Koochie or a Soros type player  2. Switch to zone defense  3. Get heavier.    like I said, I love Rod. Best pro coach ever in the Carolinas sports buy he is holding us back with his philosophy and style.  He is the reason.  He can change all of that with decisions.
