Are you on the practice field? Are you spending late nights evaluating technique from practices? If those guys are not ready than they are not ready. Stop falling in love with youtube highlight tapes and measurables.

I’m basing the statement off of on the field results. If you can’t see our team has regressed then you’re too stupid to drive.

i was on board with the prognosis around week ten but rhule has run aground since then. i don't think he has any real redeeming qualities as a coach that you can build on. there's no way he isn't done

One of the biggest things is him stressing so hard to avoid penalties and 'don't beat ourselves,' and they are currently the 4th most penalized team in Week 16. That personal foul, bad call or not, was an absolute backbreaker on Sunday. Literally his key message for the season and it's ineffective.

Only way we make the playoffs next year with rhule is if we somehow rebuild the oline in one off-season without a 2nd or 3rd rounder and get a qb that can compete now or get insanely lucky with a rookie qb who is good right out of the gate. He’s not gonna resign Cam. And even then I’m not sure rhule has what it takes.

That’s the problem though. He went so defense heavy in the draft and FA the past two years that it’s going to take multiple off seasons, not just one, to build this offense and you think he’s gonna be in the playoffs next year? We’re ranked 20th against the run after two off seasons of heavy defense. That’s bad. We were honestly better last year, playing a harder schedule and competing with playoff teams then we are this year with one of the easiest schedules in the league with more talent. Getting blown out by some of the worst teams in the league. This points to coaching being the main problem and how they’ve built the team.

    • Yeah I think he's just talking continuity it's not really an endorsement. Also I would think CarolinaHuddle of all places would understand using "we" for the team you follow. I can't STAND when dorks do the "Oh so you play for them then? Hurr hurr"
    • Kon is a damn stud but it’s not any individual player’s team. All of the “big 3” are incredibly and equally important IMO. And LaMelo makes Kon way better (look at his shooting splits with LaMelo on the floor vs without. Also Moose and even Miles are important cogs. Honestly think we’re 1 piece away from being legit top contenders if the young guys continue to develop the next year or two. I trust this FO to be patient to find that piece within the next 2-3 years and not force anything. Plenty of time and even without adding anyone we have the pieces in place overall already to compete with any team.
    • We lost 2 very close and winnable games against top teams in the league while missing 3 critical players despite 2 of our top 3 players shooting unusually terribly. Still split the 4 games that Moose and Miles were suspended, winning the most important one vs the Hawks. This ain’t yo mama’s Hornets man. Hopefully Coby can go soon but even if not Moose and Miles are huge additions for our starting lineup and bench rotations. Schedule is pretty tough after these next 4 but I think we’ll take care of business the next 4 to get to .500 then finish slightly above .500 after that to get a 7 or 8 seed. Keep it rolling boys. Also Kon is having an insanely historic rookie season as a shooter. Like truly can’t believe my eyes watching this kid level of historic. Man what a fuging home run of a draft pick and exactly what this team needed to take that next step forward. He’s gonna shatter the rookie 3 point and franchise 3 point records. Has a real chance to be the 2nd best 3 point shooter ever or dare I say even get to Curry’s level (as a pure shooter, Curry obviously has way more to his game that has made him a GOAT).
