Small-handed QB argument sounds foolish on its face

Aren't collage balls smaller than NFL balls? If they are the same sizes as they used to be it's a big difference.

As always, depends on the prospect. Smaller hands on a QB matters in context. Let's see how he rings up in the combine and see how he does with a real ball in drills. I remember Pickles being a great example of failing to make that transition with small hands. So yeah, it can matter.

I don’t think college balls are smaller anymore.

As far as op. Mahomes and burrow have an inch larger hand than Pickett. That is significant. The dude wears gloves literally because he has small hands for grip. Like Teddy but even Teddy has larger hands.

They are smaller, other small differences as well. Laces, texture, oils, etc etc. The tom brady deal gave an insight the crazy ball world. Home team advantage is more than grass height...For even a cravier deal, not long ago the Kicker&punter were able to have personal balls that they worked on. Kicker wanted a square, dont you remember before kickoffs the kicker put both ends of the ball between his arms and pressed?? Then the NFL changed the kickoff and made it where balls had to be "approved". Punters had personal gimmicked balls, just depending on what they wanted. All sort of chemicals, science, hot/cold stuff was tired.

I bet some think if Pickett had 5.75 hands, he'd still be 1st round worthily.

I have small hands but had a well above average arm up until 30 when I stopped playing ball.  As I'm almost 40 now its pretty much gone.   When I was in HS I could chuck a 3/4 ball 60 yards with a perfect spiral, but you give me a full size and my hail mary would go for 30-35 at best.  It wasn't about grip.  My grip was fine.   I couldn't keep the right spin on the ball to throw a full size for distance. My thumb would not go far enough around the ball to allow for spin control. Any time I tried to put any zip on it I threw a duck. But a 3/4 size ball I could chuck the hell out of it.    I could throw a softball hard as heck.  I played 3rd base alot and it was required to have a good arm.  I could keep the right rotation on the ball though with a two seam or even a four finger grip.     All in all they are calling his hands small....mine maybe midget carney territory.   For comparison my 12 y old son is about a foot shorter than me, but has the same size hands... go figure.    At least it makes my 🍆 look bigger 😆

In light of talking about Kenny Pickett, I just had to get to the bottom of this small hand thing, and I felt it needed its own thread, and I think that it should be required reading for intelligent fans like we have in the Huddle...

Now, you can believe what you want to believe, but to me the whole premise just sounded like bullshit, which is why I looked it up in the first place. In my experience, small hands does not equate to hand strength or one's ability to grip a football. It just made no sense to me. That being said, I like to research things and give them their fair shake. I have not been able to find one credible thing that verifies that small hands makes for a deficient QB.

Like I said, believe what you want, but if nothing else, Joe Burrow and Patrick Mahomes should give you pause.

Picketts hands are almost a full inch smaller than Burrow…

It's measured by basically the wingspan from the end of your thumb to the end of your pinky when hand is outstretched. An inch would be like removing the length of your fingernails on each finger which is a lot of grip lost.

1 inch less in circumference at the midpoint.

form one of the pickett threads

With a few things (example mechanical) you exaggerate the situation. I come form a strength group of arm wrasslers. Big hand = wins. Its like how much force can you make with a huge set of pilers compared to a small set? Think of your hand like 5 pilers and think if opponent has a bigger hand.... DE train all day to knock the ball out, would a larger hand be able to have a better grip? Hes also known for wearing gloves, I wonder why??. I have 9.25 size hand and thats tiny for my size, I heard Kenny has one less than 9, which is very hard to over-come, but not impossible.

There are excises one can do in even in a short time to add hand length/size.

All the focused hate on Rhule with each words he says, hes right about arm length. YES, yes its not end all be all. Just if ANYONE whats to test size/length/etc doesnt matter, bring your army of 4'11 short armed, tiny hands, 90 LB males/females to the battle field and I'll bring my 6'5 long armed, huge handed, 280 LBs men and we'll how many of you we can kick thought the field goals.

Now we wait for the rare-outliers quotes.....Why are there weight classes to those I ask??

Unveiling the Ingredients: What's Inside Fitspresso? Fitspresso prides itself on its all-natural formula. While the exact ingredient list might be proprietary, reviews and the manufacturer's information point to some key components: Green Tea Extract: A well-known metabolism booster, green tea extract is packed with antioxidants and may help increase calorie burning. Probiotics: These gut-friendly bacteria can contribute to digestive health, which can indirectly impact weight management. Guarana Seed: A natural source of caffeine, guarana can provide an energy boost but may also cause jitters in some users. Scientific Scrutiny: Does the Science Back Up Fitspresso's Claims? While some of the ingredients in Fitspresso have shown promise in weight management research, the evidence for Fitspresso itself is limited. Here's a closer look: Metabolism Boost: Green tea extract does have some thermogenic properties, meaning it can increase body heat production and slightly elevate metabolism. However, the effect is likely to be modest. Fat Burning: There's no magic bullet for effortless fat burning. Significant weight loss requires a combination of healthy eating, regular exercise, and a sustainable calorie deficit. Craving Control: While some ingredients may influence satiety hormones, their effectiveness in completely eliminating cravings can be variable. User Experiences: What Do People Say About Fitspresso? Fitspresso reviews paint a mixed picture. Many users report positive experiences, feeling more energized, noticing a slight improvement in weight management, and appreciating the convenience of the supplement. However, critical reviews also exist. Some users mention minimal results, while others highlight side effects like jitters or digestive discomfort potentially linked to the caffeine content. It's important to remember that individual experiences can vary significantly. The Money-Back Guarantee: A Safety Net or a Marketing Tactic? Fitspresso offers a 180-day money-back guarantee, which can be appealing. However, be sure to understand the fine print. Many money-back guarantees have specific requirements for returns, and shipping costs might not be refundable. Considering the Alternatives: What Else is Out There? Here are some alternatives: Diet and Exercise: The cornerstone of healthy weight management is a balanced diet combined with regular physical activity. Consulting a Doctor or Nutritionist: A healthcare professional can create a personalized plan that addresses your specific needs and goals. The Verdict: Is Fitspresso the Right Choice for You? The decision ultimately depends on your individual needs and expectations. Here's a breakdown to help you decide: Pros: All-natural formula (assuming full ingredient list transparency) Potential for a slight metabolism boost and energy increase (for some) Convenience of a supplement Money-back guarantee (read the fine print) Cons: Lack of strong scientific evidence for significant weight loss Potential side effects May not be a sustainable solution for long-term weight management Cost, which could be better invested in healthy food options         https://jobs.police1.com/job/rle2j8/fitspresso-reviews-[new-updated-honest-customer-warning-alert-]-real-exposed-ingredients-fits-49/fitspresso-reviews/minnesota https://jobs.police1.com/job/6m47jf/fitspresso-reviews-(medical-expert-report)-ingredients-side-effects-and-customer-reviews/fitspresso-reviews/minnesota   https://www.fivedollarclassifieds.com/services/health-beauty-fitness/fitspresso-reviews-unveiling-the-all-in-one-fitness-tracker_i1780539 https://www.leadclub.net/classifieds/services/health-beauty-fitness/fitspresso-reviews-unveiling-the-multi-faceted-fitness-tracker_i824581 https://www.quickregister.info/classifieds/services/health-beauty-fitness/fitspresso-reviews-unveiling-the-all-in-one-fitness-tracker-for-the-discerning-athlete_i643563 https://www.affiliateclassifiedads.com/services/health-beauty-fitness/fitspresso-reviews-unveiling-the-data-driven-fitness-companion_i1878281 https://www.classifiedadsubmissionservice.com/classifieds/services/health-beauty-fitness/fitspresso-reviews-unveiling-the-fitness-tracker-for-the-tech-savvy-athlete_i783275 https://www.interleads.net/classifieds/services/health-beauty-fitness_1/fitspresso-reviews-unveiling-the-fitness-tracker-for-all-techie-or-traditionalist_i928321 https://www.freeglobalclassifiedads.com/services/health-beauty-fitness/fitspresso-reviews-unveiling-the-versatile-fitness-tracker_i2925058 https://www.quickregisterhosting.com/classifieds/services/health-beauty-fitness/fitspresso-reviews-unveiling-the-fitness-tracker-that-adapts-to-you_i765563 https://www.makemoneydonothing.com/services/health-beauty-fitness/fitspresso-reviews-unveiling-the-fitness-tracker-that-grows-with-you_i1723392 https://www.askmeclassifieds.com/services/health-beauty-fitness/fitspresso-reviews-unveiling-the-fitness-tracker-that-grows-with-you_i156884
