All you do is sh&t on people like @Verge, @ellis, @Mr. Scot . It’s nice to hear what they’ve heard and they a whole hell of lot more than you. All you do is spout off about Appaloser model, who bought psls for the day and what emoji to use next. Do us all a favor and leave. You make people like those who actually have news not want to post any.

Fify. Yeah he doesn't understand the huddle as a community before his arrival.

Forgive him.

I ignored this strange person last month when I noticed I was wasting my time reading their bs

I think the NFL is just very fluid in general. Perhaps Watson was interested in playing for us last offseason. Most analysts were pretty high on Rhule still. After this season and the obvious make or break year coming up his opinion changed (and rightfully so). Draft predictions are also very fluid. The Niners probably liked Mac at first and Lance won them over with interviews and potential.

You were lied to for clicks.  Sorry you had to find out this way.  Elements are being added to the chain of events that never happened.  That is what I am talking about.

At the end of the day, there was a perfect storm of events that led Stafford to the Rams.  Not only did he want to be there, but they wanted him just as bad, and the Lions front office was extremely comfortable with the Rams front office.  The Lions GM just came from the Rams, where he had spent his entire NFL front office career (since 2003).  The Asst. GM for the Lions was also from the Rams, and had been there just as long as the GM.  The way the Lions describe the events matches how Kyle Shanahan recalls the events.  Once the ball started rolling, it happened so quick that there wasn't time to react.  The Lions new staff was most comfortable dealing with the Rams, and the Rams were willing to do whatever it took to get Stafford.  They even felt comfortable enough to work out a deal for a slight delay in executing the trade so that the Rams would take on Goff's roster bonus that was due, and not the Lions.

There were several player names discussed during the negotiations as well.  In the end only Goff was included in the deal, though Michael Brockers came over in a separate deal shortly after.

Offers from other teams were used as the backbone of the negotiations between the Rams and Lions.  Both teams stayed locked into negotiations knowing a deal was inevitable.

From what I've read, it sounds like some teams are becoming less afraid of his lawsuits. However, they're still fairly concerned about the ten criminal cases.

A recent judge's ruling moved up the timing on several remaining depositions for his lawsuits. One of the apparent worries his legal team has is that if he's questioned under oath in those depositions, information learned from them could be used by prosecutors seeking to indict him.

How likely is that to play out? Don't know, but it's another of the many reasons to stay far away from him.

Breaking News:  Any top tier NFL QB that has options isn't coming to Carolina...

...along with 26 other NFL teams who aren't in the hunt for a Lombardi 🤦‍♂️

(not to mention there are no "top tier NFL QB's" available to anyone 😉)

    • Not sure how much he was a long term piece of this team.   Sucks to not have him as part of the rotation.   Looks like it's Lee Hunter time.
    • This post was an error. Oops and sorry for the errors in the previous one. Too slow to edit.   We’ll see what they do.
    • I am not sure he will put the over the games but we’ll probably have them.   Two things I am thinking.  We have 4 preseason games.  All the coaches have enough service time to know the standards that are in place for decades. If I recall it was play your starters just a series to start woth and build it up until week theee where play a lot and you have week four to set hour roster. Evaluate before cuts.   Bevell will certainly have the whole thing down pat.   I’d they don’t do the fries and frie air will worry too. Because it is set up to do that.     I have said since they went t three preseason people have to figure a new way are still feeling it out and trying things.  We don’t have to this year.
