Rhule is going to cost us another season.  I knew it.  It was bound to happen.

Well, if you are going to go “sell” Carolina….it probably would have been best not to put Matt Rhule on the plane.  Tepper should of gone by himself.

Matt Rhule always sounds like an idiot

the old guard media types have been pushing this so hard, lacanfora would be devastated if Watson ended up here

theres a reason you’ve seen these guys desperately pushing teams like Pitt to get involved

Yep - I don’t trust a thing the media reports simply because of this.  They don’t want Watson here because it’s not sexy enough.  So they will report anything and everything to the contrary

Hilarious that Tepper has been begging like a dog for over a year and we're not likely even in his top 2 by the time it's all said and done.

Draft a QB this year or next like everybody else

Who in their right mind would want to come in to this dumpster fire? Especially for all we'd have to give up for him. He'd be surrounded by a RB who's always hurt, a bad (but hopefully mildly better next year) offensive line, a gutted defense which will most certainly be worse, a coaching staff everyone knows is gone after this year, and no draft picks to improve anything.

These reactions are what the Texans are hoping happens with Tepper to give up more. Falcons benefit from this as well. All these teams talk and feed info to reporters.

if DW actually wants to go to Atlanta then good luck to him because they are surprisingly worse than us.

Falcons just reworked Ryans contract.  I don’t have the math but that would be very hard for them to send him out now

Something like 55 million in dead cap if they get rid of him now.  Its a non starter.  Im sure Houston wants nothing to do with an old ass, expensive ass Matt Ryan. Plus what other assets do they have that is better than what we could offer?

Defies reality that it would end up being Atlanta.

    • No poo tho you might could Jenkins for Legette. They got nothing at WR after the big 2 in Cincy. I don’t think you trade away OL depth. Could get a quality player in cuts. Really that 3-4 end spot what you should be looking for is someone who is stout with long arms and can push back the OL in both the run and pass game for others to make plays…. But we signed Wharton, sometimes I think Evero is a fraud ass nerd who should be an analyst at best.
    • you would honestly probably do Monroe Freeling more of a disservice by putting him in a position where is not yet ready to succeed. .we all knew Monroe Freeling struggled at the NFL combine in drills because of technique related issues & would need time to develop  & now all of a sudden before they even put the pads on Monroe Freeling is somehow a starting LT in the NFL ? if he struggled at the NFL scouting combine what do you actually think is going to happen in a live NFL game at LT ? .even our best LT of all time was not ready to start at LT when he was a rookie & he turned out to be a pretty good darn LT by the name of Jordan Gross ...just saying be patient Young Jedis
    • well i could go on & on but i will just highlight it by saying big difference trust me from the SEC & NFL.it's honestly like comparing apples & oranges especially when you are talking about a  LT. in the NFL you are going up against the most athletic freaks of nature the world has to offer . .the NFL also has much more exotic & complicated defensive schemes than what they are used to seeing at Georgis &  finally but most importantly you have to learn how to master complex bio mechanics where the body kick steps instantly as a reaction to these world class athletes rush without really making a conscious effort it's more of a learned muscle memory  & it can take thousands upon thousands of reps to master rproper technique for a LT in the NFL especially if you are still very raw like Monroe Freeling is    ...just saying
