For all of those self-righteous huddlers looking down from your high horses bemoaning how you don't want Watson and hope the Saints or Falcons take him, you're gonna get your wish...  and I dont want to hear one peep out of you when he's thrashing our sorry ass team twice a year for the next decade.  It should make you sick to your fuging stomach.  And yet, you're cheering for our own demise.  It's fuging disgusting.

Who cares

For all you Positivity Petes out there. Give me your 3 reasons why Watson himself would want to come here. He gets to throw to Moore? His old pal just got signed as a RB? He used to watch us on TV when he was at Clemson? The defense is usually decent? If healthy, CMC and he could break records?

Our offense would feature a new OL with possible Armstead signed as well, CMC, DJ Moore, Robbie (or Fuller), two young TEs in Thomas/Tremble and some young weapons in TMJ/Shi Smith. Defense would still have young talent and Tepper will basically let him help run the team. It’s a nice setup for a QB.

Not one person in the Panthers organization has given up on Matt Rhule.  He has been a spearhead for criticism but he has built a good team in short time and is a leader in the locker room.  All this outside noise hasn’t changed the rebuild thinking.  We are building a championship team here and Rhule is leading it

The locker room quit on him twice last year

I really want Baker at this point. Imagine giving up a 3rd for our next QB vs whatever amount of picks and players for DW. Yes, I get this will be the third season in a row but we’ve got the line finally right (assuming we go LT at 6) and Baker is immensely more talented than Teddy or Sam.

No, every NFL locker room is realistic about injuries and the future.  They shut down CMC and we weren’t going to make the playoffs.  Amazingly the defense finished 2nd overall.  Sometimes is better to wait till next season.  Every team quits mentally when they can’t make the playoffs.  Sport is way to tough to risk your livelihood for pride

Can we just talk for a minute about how silly it is to believe that they left that meeting thinking he wanted the Saints then went and told someone who was gonna immediately leak it while the process was still playing out and there's a chance at the outcome they want?

Like everything any talking head has said to this point it's speculation from...someone.

For the record I'm of the opinion he's not going to choose to come here, not sitting around trying to talk myself into holding onto a thread.  It's just this mindset of "if it's good and it's about us or bad and about someone else it's poo...reverse that and it's gospel" is mind-numbing.

    • Much conversation has been made recently of 650 million dollar Charlotte public money needed to refurbish the privately owned Carolina Panther Football Stadium.  Cities and their citizen money funding  is responsible for government offices, police, fire, parks, recreation and civic needs only.  Taxpayers should never have to fund private enterprises such as Professional Football, Baseball, Soccer, Racing and Basketball.   Any owner who  threatens to leave the area if his refurbishing  needs are not met with public dollars should be given a one way bus ticket from the city to leave the area.  The owners enterprise will gladly be sold for his profit and another owner will gladly purchase the enterprise for their profit.                                         In this specific case of the Carolina Panthers, no Charlotte resident tax money should be entertained to fund the 650 million dollar project.  The multi-billionaire owner of the Panthers can well afford to fund this project by himself.  Otherwise Charlotte can provide him with a bus ticket.
    • Glad that site worked for you..or someone you know  I didn’t  get a single  hit on that site  the hits I got came from the one I listened the transfer fee for me was $300 …that is all I paid and got rid of the psls, season tickets (full price) and  the parking pass…they handle all paperwork and interactions with the buyer and team i did ask my concierge , the day I was notified that they had sold, to move it along for me with Panthers Ops which she did to say I’m grateful and relieved is an understatement  I have no regrets…had great times there pre Tepper with my friends
