We also resigned Ian Thomas...didn't like it when the did and easily the worst grade FA now.  No one would have signed him for what we did.

I saw the Ian Thomas signing and thought this FA period was going to be a poo-show.  They turned it around for the most part.  I didn't like re-signing Haynes and cutting Fox. I get the cap savings, but I feel Fox is a much better player.

B.

I would have it higher, but the Panthers were not able to address QB, which is huge. Under the radar, the Panthers lost Reddick and didn't replace him...yet.

Most of the signings were solid moves, but I didn't like re-signing Ian Thomas and Donte Jackson, especially Jackson. Why? Because it was stupid to release Bouye while under contract and then pay Donte $10M more per year for the same damn skillset. Bad cap management for both positions.

I like the Foreman signing for two reasons, (1) he's better suited for short-yardage situations and (2) let's not pretend Christian will play a full season.

If they manage to pick up another first round pick by trading McCaffrey or some other unknown means, I'll be firmly of the belief that our first pick will be a quarterback.

The second first rounder would likely be used on an offensive lineman, maybe Trevor Penning or someone like that.

I would not be surprised to see Buffalo reach out about CMC again. They thought they had their pass catching back signed in McKissic until that fell through (and Beane was pretty pissed about).

Compensation wise - I think I saw we asked for a first. I think the best they could do is a 2. But - I don't believe they'll trade CMC.

I don't think they want to, especially Rhule.

It'd likely require a better offer than what I'd expect most teams are ready to give.

That said, stranger things have happened.

Its not over and players that can help are out there.

I think its 180 form last year in my feelings, 2/10 last year 8/10 this year.

Or solid B for the alphabet peeps.

Players will be june 1st cuts and some right after the draft, it being a heavy line draft, a bigger than normal group could be on the market.

Finnesssereerererr is not done.

I’m just not liking all the one year deals. It’s like the Panthers have a philosophy that the 53 man roster is an eternal revolving door.

That being said, I would give the off-season a solid B-.

I'm okay with it.

Sometimes you need to do stuff like that temporarily while you're building the core of the team through the draft.
