Unfortunately for CMC and Jon Beason since someone posted him they both were plagued by non contact injuries. They were also usually deep tissues / ligament injuries. In a game like football, if you are injury prone and it isn’t due to the hits and or violent nature of the game, it’s probably a side effect from increased PED usage. Users end up pushing their bodies past their natural limits and things like ligament tears, sprains and strains, pulled muscles etc, become increasingly more prevalent.

I remember reading a study done about the correlation between steroid usage and non contact injuries in the NFL and the risk for players who abused PEDs was significantly higher. Sorry, but just looking at McCaffrey and Beason, those guys don’t look natural and both have suffered numerous non contact injuries through their NFL careers. Some guys frames just can’t support the added muscle mass along with the speed and agility needed to be an NFL player. Connective tissues just start tearing and popping.

He looks great but he has to be better prepared for the season and each game.

I'm sure many of you who were athletes know how a hamstring injury feels and occurs.  It's one of the worst feelings you can have.  When I blew mine out I had a bruise from my @ss to well below my knee.  Not only couldn't I walk but it was very painful just to sit down.

Sudden bursts and movement is a major reason.  We all know those bursts and sudden movements are what makes him so good.

He has to do more stretching and preparation for each game.

Hopefully the injury bug as moved on and he'll play most of the season.

    • Okay you didn’t propose that the inexperience of the receivers is the reason for the conservative play calling. You didn’t say that, right?  I downplayed the OL characterizations because tnhatvwas sort of a unique situation. One game.  Without looking back through your stuff with AT to really be accurate, you basically claim that his absence is kind of at the root of this receiver weakness. My words.  I will comment on that. 1st overall. Billed as a point guard.  Third year. That third year is big , I mean when so the training wheels come off?  Butcyiuveobg think a guy with  his pedigree should be able to adapt and we are half way through. Not week one or two.    I mean I didn’t try to misrepresent what you said. I am fine with being corrected.  But you are making a lot claims for a Bryce that many people - including the much respected Greg Cosell - have gotten past.  You do know that he is on record twice that J know of, basically saying what I said. What other people say.  You are sort of Bryce’s Don Quixote here it seems to me.  premade excuse whatever typos the phone is small the keys are small.
