I said it a few days ago that I suspect Rhule low key wishes he had been fired after the season. I honestly think he expected it and had kinda moved on mentally and was likely looking at next steps in his career. There were ample rumors swirling that he and/or his agent had been sniffing around the top college jobs.

It's wild. Everyone except Tepper knows Rhule should've been fired by now, even Rhule himself.

Was this brass balls Tepper betting on Rhule resigning? Resigning and walking away from all those millions? 😂

Wishful thinking

I want more details on this quote. Was McShay saying this because of Rhule? Or is there other meaning here?

Pretty simple, honestly. McShay is basically saying the Panthers are an awful organization.

I know there are some guys at ESPN who favor Matt Rhule

Ahhh - Todd McShay.  The equipment manager turned tv personality.  I’m not a Rhule fan, but at least Rhule played collegiate football and has won as a coach. McShay really shouldn’t be talking ish about anyone

I’ve never supported this logic though.  It’s like hiring a roofer and he then puts down the new shingles over the existing shingles…..and then he is all like, well unless you have been a roofer you have no right to comment on glaringly obvious mistakes and what a poor roofer I am.

Rhule and Carolina have become a joke.   And the bar to call it out shouldn’t be a better resume in coaching than Rhule’s.

    • I don't think it's a homer though when I really feel this team can beat anyone.  The points that can be scored in bunches when the big three are on has high potential.  Moose has effort for days and IMO is the heart of the team.  And didn't see Miles becoming the team "vet" in the starting lineup just roleplaying lol.   We have to limit the turnovers though (Brandon Miller I'm looking at you bud, you are a bad ball handler) and some little things.   Colby off the bench is a cheat code and him and Kaulk have a nice little game going with the picks.    Sion playing every game and just getting better each game.  He has grit.  Grant and Green also grit.  We need replace Tillman with PJ Hall though.  Tillman looks like someone that shouldn't be on an NBA court, or at least with this team, he's just too slow for this tempo.   Even McNeely looked decent tonight and can drive.   If Kaulk and Moose could even be like 30% 3pt shooters man....
    • 1.) LaMelo 2.) Kon 3.} Miller 4.. Giannis 5.) Moose   1.) Coby 2.) ? 3.) Sion 4.) Miles Bridges 5.) Kalk That squad would win multiple chips.
