Had a 4th-5th round grade on him.  Runs a 4.23.  We got him in the 7th.  Hell yeah.  These are the kind of flyers you want.  Guys with elite traits.

Panthers selected Baylor CB Kalon Barnes with the No. 242 overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft.

Barnes' (5'11"/183) calling card is blazing speed. A high school track star, Barnes burned up the Combine with a 4.23 40, the second-fastest time in the history of the event. Unfortunately, he doesn't offer much beyond the wheels. Barnes plays very loose, getting beat initially off the snap, too often relying on his quickness to recover. His tackling needs work, as he doesn’t go for the mid-section to wrap up. The athletic ability is there, but it takes more to make it in the NFL. Barnes will likely have to begin his big-league career on practice squads.

Yes. The Baylor mocking aside this is decent value.  Can’t teach speed but he comes with a ton of it.
