He has conclusively proved he isn't a starting caliber NFL QB. It remains to be seen if he is an NFL caliber QB.

Either way, as a fan I don't want to see him trotted out there to fail again. It's not fun for us and it's not fun for him, I'm sure.

Can’t stand him. I saw him post on twitter a pic of Mac and cheese he made and it was burnt to a crisp. He then got roasted (no pun intended) in the comments and acted like a loser about it. Haven’t respected him since.

He's a crappy combination of hard nosed reporter who turns into sensitive diva whenever his takes get pointed out to be off base.

If you post comments on PFT, the ones that point out his mistakes never get approved.  It's just stuff that pats him on the back, is outrageous, or off point.

He's the guy you grew up with who gives everybody a hard time but gets a huge case of butthurt if the tables are turned.

Hasn't always been that way - used to be pretty funny, irreverent, and self deprecating.  But after his NBC gig, he seems to have fallen deeply in love with himself.

If this was a Rhule  interview, I would believe that. Scott has been pretty transparent  in his thought process.  I haven't  seen him walk much back like Rhule has.

I doubt we will see Corral until later in the year. If they match a 3rd round QB out there at the beginning of the season it’s going to be Pickles all over again. There’s no Urban Meyer to cloud the dysfunction this season from the entire NFL. All 31 teams will mock them about as bad as their own fanbase does.

Not only that, but the offense in general. Imagine if our offense went from bottom of the league to top half. I doubt that happens...disclaimer. Teams will be beating down his door. If Corral is successful, we got Ben for 2 years max. That's all pipe dream stuff though. Same as it was with Brady, tbh.

The other option is to march out Sam again. I get not wanting to rush Corral, but it won’t take much for him to be our best option.

On Sam Darnold's play last year:

 Well, the first three games that they played really well even into the Dallas....I think injuries losing McCaffrey did play a factor in it. But really it was the inconsistency of the offensive line. There's too much leakage up there....You know, when Sam, when he has time, he delivers the ball, it looked good, but when he didn't have time even when Cam Newton was here. And he didn't have time. It's hard to play that position and it's not solely on the quarterback. It's on us.

David Tepper seemed to be very involved with the team and look, it's the prerogative of the owner. How involved is he in day-to-day big picture?

 He's there as sounding board for us, you know, he'll help us, guide the process.  He will ask the tough questions. He asked us if we would if we look at it from this standpoint and he never really comes in and says, hey we're doing this. He's never done that since I've been here, but he does help guide tough conversation.

      Nobody is giving up a 4th rounder for a backup QB And anyone who needs a starter badly enough to where Bryce would then be their starter, is such a bad team that they're not giving up a pick likely to be about pick 105ish overall, instead of just dealing with a bad QB situation for a season and then drafting one in a loaded QB draft next year. I'm looking through all the teams right now and can't think of a single one that would be willing to part with anything better than a 6th rounder. Barring injuries (and excluding the Panthers), there look to be 10 teams who don't know with 100% certainty who their starting QB will be in 2027... Dolphins, Jets, Browns, Steelers, Vikings, Colts, Saints, Falcons, Cardinals, and Rams. Of those 10...  The Rams know it will be Stafford or Simpson.  The Saints more than likely will be sticking with Shough unless he takes a huge step backwards.  So neither are giving up any draft picks for Bryce right now, just wouldn't make sense for either. Down to 8 Given their current QB situation of having multiple QBs they already need to evaluate between this year, the Browns (Shedeur/Watson), Vikings (Kyler/JJ), Colts (Jones/Richardson/Leonard), and Falcons (Penix/Tua), wouldn't be giving up a 4th (or maybe any pick) to bring in another QB to muddy the waters even more. Down to 4 Dolphins just signed Willis and wouldn't want to bring in another small Alabama QB who has struggled after just dumping Tua instead of just rolling with Ewers as the backup.   That then leaves the Steelers, Cardinals, and Jets left as it's clear none of them have any idea who their 2027 could be as of right now.  But the Steelers would for sure rather just see what one of the 2 QB's they drafted in the last 2 drafts could become than give up a mid round pick for Bryce.  Same goes for the Cardinals in taking Beck this past weekend. The Jets would be the most likely team to even consider taking him on, but I think it seems very apparent right now given them rolling with Geno and now talk of bringing in Wilson to be his backup, they're punting on QB this year to draft someone next year, so why give up even a mid round pick for Bryce?

      Honestly I am not sure Pickett couldn’t step in for him. But I don’t see a clear easy upgrade and we are not KC with Alex Smith we are a team that hadn’t done poo for almost ten years and just made the playoffs. And looked good in the game. That stadium atmosphere on that day…. you know Tepper ate that poo up. Not one drink has been thrown in a while.  You had better make sure if you replaced him after that that you had a sure fire upgrade.

      Makes sense. If Bryce is ass this year, we are probably drafting our new QB next draft and sitting him behind Bryce for a year
