A really good video on Matt Corral

Dude was my favorite QB in the class for a long time. I was in the Corral camp long before the combine rolled around. But since drafting him I keep getting more and more excited about him every day. I really feel he will be our QB of the future. Fingers crossed.

I think his ability to get the team behind him is undervalued.  Player gravitate to toughness.  He's a tough kid and he's going to get the team behind him and they'll work extra hard for him.

Imagine being down by a score and Corral motivates the defense to get us a stop.  I can see him coming in and leading us to a winning score.  

I wasn't much on the Corral bandwagon but videos like this (I've seen several) really  has me excited for what he can do for the Panthers.

I just hope Rhule sees quickly how the team will respond to him.  

Can't wait until next week when the whole team is together.

I’m starting to drink the Corral kool aid.  He looks extremely solid and the fact we got him in the 3rd makes it even sweeter.

Nice.  I am really pulling for the kid.  
I do think his accuracy on the move is elite.  Let’s see how he picks up Macado’s system.  
While I want him to start day one it is probably better to have him learn and develop what it means to be an NFL QB first.

That’s the kind of stuff Cam could bring out in a team that a QB like Sam Darnold or Teddy Bridgewater cannot do.

Same here. I mean the first couple things I noticed about him was that quick accurate throw and how smooth he was with play action stuff...and then there's the scrambling and rushing. Guy looks like he's got it all. 

But then the more I watched his games and saw how he was with his guys in the huddle and on the sidelines, his demeanor and how they responded... he's got it. He's got them. I saw it with Jake, I definitely saw it with Cam from the first game I watched of his in the Iron Bowl. Being that guy who gets his teammates focused, in line when called for, and charged up is key.

I didn't see that with Sammy or Teddy or any other QBs here in the last couple decades. A QB needs to not just pull the best out of himself and be a good player, he needs to pull the best out of the team around him and make them be better players and his character is what will cause people around him to respond too him, just like they did with Jake and Cam.

Did we manage to get a franchise QB and franchise LT in one draft? That would be pretty impressive. Especially considering our lack of picks going into the draft

Trying not to get my hopes up but it sure is a possibility.  

I just hope Rhule doesn't waste a year giving the kid a chance to show up.
