Meanwhile, in the Titans front office...

Watch him turn into a Pro Bowler (kidding). It’s funny we hire a good OL coach and he just ditched one of our starters and benched/cut the other 3. Only Moton is the same from last year. Campen was like these guys don’t belong on a NFL roster…

This was all Rhule. I mean doesn’t he control everything?

Rhule is a tool.  I'm sure Matt said: 'this is the list of who we are cutting Scott, do you think we can get any trade compensation out of them?'

I HIGHLY doubt Rhule was like: 'Hey man call the Titans and trade them Daley for a 5th.'

Yes, Rhule gave Fitterer some ammunition to work with, but Scott is the one that makes the fireworks happen.

If you'd asked me what I thought we could get for any of our backup OL in a trade I would've asked you to take me to your dealer if you thought we could get ANYTHING. 😂

Fitt is great at getting value. He is a value junkie. He can give a coach all the value that is available. Its up to the coach to do his part of the deal and actually coach them.

or the panthers did not cut any players earlier today due to the fact after practice they were gonna determine who was shoppable to get compensation. It's not cats vs dogs or black and white. It's very likely Rhule and Fitts worked together on how they could get compensation and for who.....

    • Kalkbrenner and Sion James received regular contracts and not two ways, so the Hornets have some work to do to cut the roster size down.
    • Gustavsson would be insane. I think we would have to break the bank to afford that move. Which, I don't think is necessarily a bad idea. Ultimately, Freddie isn't likely to be around more than a couple of seasons more. We can all agree that unless they have a fleet of sports psychologists working on Kochetkov, he will never be capable of getting his head on straight enough to compete.
    • I originally hated the Miller deal but with the cap projected to rise nearly $10M next season the Canes struck some pretty good deals between Miller and Ehlers. Most of the team is locked in for the next few years. Nikishin will need an extension probably in the $6M AAV range. And Blake will need one if we don’t move him. Personally I’d move Blake, picks, and any prospect not named Nikishin/Nadeau/Artamonov for McTavish as I don’t see any any of the big time players moving teams next year. Realistically the Hurricanes should just target Gustavsson next year to fix the goal tending issue. But I’m all for moving Blake, picks, and prospects for McTavish this year. Ehlers - Aho - Jarvis Svechnikov - McTavish - Stankoven Martinook - Staal - Carrier Hall - Kotkaniemi - Robinson Jost - Jankowski Slavin - Miller Nikishin - Chatfield Gostisbehere - Walker Reilly Andersen Kochetkov I’d do Blake, Felix-Unger-Sorum, and 27 2nd for McTavish.
