Does 0-2 put Rhule’s seat red hot?

There may be a possible bond between Rhule and Tepper that extends beyond the grid iron which might provide him a longer leash than most would have in this situation..... and as long as the NFL marketing machine and the Panthers continue to increase Tepper's return on investment it may continue to extend this professional relationship longer than most of you would care for................and that's all I'll say on the subject.

no NFL coach just gets 4-7 years.  You still have to earn it.

the stadiums will empty, the season tickets they so want to bump the price on won't sell, etc.

The lion's share of the NFL owners return on investment isn't driven by the lemming fans.............Covid empty stands should have made that clear .........nobody was in attendance then and yet their team values still increased.........

Folks the world is a conjob.........ask the bankers..........and for the most part so are pro and big time college sports........anywhere there is big money there is the big con.

Should be, but nothing will happen. Rhule is still owed like $43 million. I doubt David Tepper would piss 43 million away for sake of potentially winning some football games. I am afraid we're stuck with him so we might as well grit our teeth, support the team, and weather the storm.

He already pissed away 62 million by hiring Rhule.

I would also point out that "winning some football games" is the number one goal of having a team. Supporting a team that doesn't do that would be pretty goofy.

I do not understand those saying he gets a few extra years due to his contract.  I mean, eating $8m per year is not as bad as losing for 10 years as a team--what that does to ticket sales, merchandising, the brand, etc.  If we lose 10 games this season, time to move on.--if not sooner.

Or just stop wasting our time watching this dumpster fire of a team, stop wasting our money buying merchandise or at bars watching them, and probably feel happier and less stressed until changes are made...

The money is a sunk cost. He brought Rhule here to build a winning culture and team and if that isn't happening and continues to look unlikely as it does now, then he's only losing money (such as from fans etc) and more importantly a chance at success by keeping him.  If he's committed to winning then it doesn't matter what he's paying him really.

    • I don't do locks lol. I just bet +1000 and up and can hit at a decent rate. Combine ml winners and team shots on target. Do better in champions league than anything else
    • Did not expect this from national media. https://www.foxsports.com/stories/nfl/10-best-nfl-defenses-2026-texans-seahawks-broncos 10. Carolina Panthers   Key additions: OLB Jaelan Phillips (FA), LB Devin Lloyd (FA), DT Lee Hunter (draft) Key losses: DT A’Shawn Robinson (FA) Don’t be surprised to see the Panthers, who ranked 15th in points allowed and 16th in yards given up last season, make the leap into the top-10 conversation in 2026.  They added two of the marquee defensive free agents in edge rusher Jaelan Phillips and linebacker Devin Lloyd. Cornerback Jaycee Horn is coming off back-to-back Pro Bowl seasons. Carolina lost starting defensive tackle A’Shawn Robinson in free agency but essentially replaced him with second-round pick Lee Hunter, who had 10.5 tackles for loss at Texas Tech last season.  Ejiro Evero, one of the NFL’s most respected defensive coordinators, has plenty of talent to work with.
    • unless you have a bonafide superstar at Qb you bring in competition every year until you do & or at the very least you want a legitimate plan B in case of an injury .the problem in Carolina is they know Bryce ayoung most likely could not actually win a real legitimate NFL Qb competition right now & if & when he did not win that aforesaid Qb competition it would not only be a major distraction but a setback to his overall development.& moreover once the fans realized they had a much better Qb on the roster it would be alot of public pressure to start the better Qb  ...just saying
