Any SEC team would beat the living poo out of us.😂

Yeah, cause the SEC is loaded with power outside of Alabama and Georgia? Kentucky! What a juggernaut. They beat Florida! Mizzu is really good too! Vanderbilt and Tenn. Monsters.  The one thing the Panthers have in common to the majority of sec? They both suck.

They might, but I still would put my money on some of them over the poo we got going on.

The best we could possibly hope for is some type of negotiated buyout settlement later in the year, if he indeed wants to be in line for a HC position in college next year.  I can't imagine him walking away from the money he is owed, even if he did get a really lucrative college offer.  He would be better off getting fired at the end of the year, collecting all of his money and waiting a year and then taking a college job.  The only real thing the Panthers can do now is cut losses and let him go and maybe hope to retain some fans.

Nobody had to beg and beg and beg this much for Rivera to get canned.

Tepper, you may not like it but THIS IS YOUR JOB.

You've already lost that 70M, there's no getting it back.

Just say the smarter man in the deal won and move on immediately, not the end of the season, no, ASAP.

Handle things asap dude. Stop the pussyfooting.

If we lose to the Saints, we are statistically still alive for the playoffs, but in reality--short of a miracle--we will be eliminated.

Teams starting 0-3 are essentially eliminated from the playoffs

"Since 1980, only 3.4% of teams to start 0-3 made the playoffs!"

Tepper is into analytics, show him this data...lol

    • What's wrong with Damien Lewis? He played pretty well last year.
    • Official NFL Cuts Tracker Deadline for roster cuts is Tuesday, August 26th. At this moment (Friday, August 22nd) the only interesting names I see are... K Caden Davis (BUF) RB Ameer Abdullah (SF) WR Equanimeous St. Brown (SF) WR Donovan Peoples-Jones (NO) LB Khaleke Hudson (TEN) Abdullah, St. Brown, Peoples-Jones I don't exactly think we should cut anybody for but it was just interesting seeing those names. Khaleke Hudson was on the Panthers' practice squad last year I believe and might have even gotten called up? And of course, Caden Davis just because of the question mark at kicker this season for the team.
    • I'll say 6/10. I don't know that we learned a whole lot about this team during preseason that we didn't already know. We didn't play the starters enough to really get a feel for what to expect. We had one good drive against the Browns, one 3-and-out and two 3-and-outs against the Texans. That's an extremely small sample size across 3 games regardless of performance. My camp/preseason takeaways: Jalen Coker might be the best WR on this team and is certainly no worse than #2. Nic Scourton is going to be a good player for us. Possibly very good. Bobby Brown was our best free agent addition. Jack Plummer isn't an NFL QB. Not even a practice squad guy. Having anyone other than Canales and Evero call plays was a really stupid and pointless idea. Our depth is largely non-existent, especially on defense. The three areas we actually DO have depth are on the OL, in the WR corp. and at RB. I can't fathom why Dan Morgan didn't do more to upgrade ILB during the offseason. We better hope Lathan Ransom steps up at FS because if he doesn't we have a massive hole. For all the hype surrounding Sanders/Evans, Tommy Tremble is still the best TE on the roster. I'm only slightly less enthusiastic going into the regular season than I was a month ago. I think our starters on offense are solid and we should be pretty good there unless Bryce totally regresses. On defense, we're probably bottom 3rd in the league if 100% healthy and significantly worse than that if injuries become an issue. We badly need at least two of our rookies to become high-level players early (ideally one of the pass rushers + Ransom) and at least 2 of our free agent additions (ideally Moehrig + Bobby Brown) to be significant upgrades over last year. Call me pessimistically optimistic 😆
