Anyone else get injected with some actual Hope for the future?

Yes Tepper is still the owner, and that isn't ideal, but the fact that Rhule was still HC and doing so poorly left the possibility that he would STILL be around long enough to fug things up for next season. 

Now that he's gone, we don't have to worry about him being around to ruin things for the future. We can reset with a new HC and a high draft pick and look forward to the 2023 season. The draft will be exciting again and we have a shot at a top tier QB prospect. 

There are plenty of qualified HC candidates out there currently, the possibility of us choosing someone this bad again isn't likely since Rhule was historically terrible and we can really only go up from here.

No because I felt the same when Ron was canned and the man who hired Rhule is still in charge.

It's interesting to give an interim head coach this many games. Usually they're stuck with a few garbage games at the end of the year. Not that I expect anything to happen, but it's got to be a positive for Wilks

It's also pretty unique because Tabor (ST), Wilks (HC) and McAdoo (OC) are all brand new.  This is not like a typical interim that knows the system, well because we really don't have one haha

It's a start. Lets see who they hire next year for HC and a new OC. Take it from there.

It depends on how the team comes out and plays. If the offensive philosophy changes and actually starts doing something that makes sense, and the defense can hold, who knows what can happen. I want to see what our guys are made of. Any that come out and half ass it can clean out their lockers for all I care.

Absolutely!! Rhule was a cancer on the team and needed to be sliced off so the rest of the franchise can being to heal and thrive again.

This. We lack talent, especially at QB.  Firing Rhule doesn’t do nothing for me as it only increases our odds of possibly winning 5-6 games and picking 6th.

Nah, dude. Gotta wait for more info. Wilks and our current QB situation blunt--really bash over the head--any thoughts of even a temporary injection of positivity or winning energy about the current state of affairs.

As long as Tepper let's Fitterer do his job and not be a freaking 'fingers in the pot' owner like Jerry Jones, I have high hopes for the future.

It’s a wonderful sense of immediately relief.  The boogeyman is finally out of the building.  Unfortunately, all of his minions remain and there’s no inkling of what what the hell Tep does next, so it’s only a flighting sense of peace.  

 

Just gonna ride the rest of the season and hope we don’t botch this next hire
