I've been telling everyone since PJ has been here, outside of Cam coming back, PJ has been the best QB on the roster.  He is athletic, he has a live arm and can absolutely sling it, and has shown good accuracy...  he just needs the reps and a coaching staff that knows wtf they're doing.

A better Oline doesn't hurt either. He needs to keep starting as long as he plays like he is.

This is what happens when you fug around and let PJ Walker start AND actually let him play

*when starting AND not asked to to throw screen passes all game.  Frankly we shouldn’t even count last week.   And I won’t.

I still don't know wtf that was last week.  If we weren't intentionally trying to lose, the only thing I can think is that they were intending on running a different scheme that required new installs over time, and so they just didn't want to run what had already been staples up to that point.

TBH, this is the best I remember us consistently moving the ball as the game has progressed past the 1st qtr since Teddy was here.

I've been standing up for PJ since day one.  I believe in him.  He's a good player.  He has occasional brain farts, but far more often than not, he is a great player with a great skill set.

    • Lions were never going Freeling over Miller for the same reason we wouldn't have taken Miller had Freeling not been on the board. Miller is a career RT Lions have a hole at RT, we have a hole at LT. If we took Miller, it would have been for him to backup Moton until he retires and/or we release him, so the best case scenario is it would have been a wasted 1st round pick for at least 1, if not 2 years.  At least Freeling has a shot at playing this year without injury ahead of him, he absolutely can win the LT job if he earns it, but Miller would have never supplanted Moton this year unless he got hurt.
    • What up y’all. I like threads like this where we can stroll down memory lane. I remember the insane amount of site traffic pre-crash when we signed Keyshawn Johnson, 06 I believe. Raging about the Cowboys Christmas Eve loss in 05 (Peppers touched that FG attempt as sure as Cotchery caught it). When I found the huddle I basically had a first born baby, now I’ve got one in college and one in high school. Life comes at you fast, but the Panthers and the Huddle has been a steady constant in my life for many years.  Those who have been here, y’all are cool with me any time any where.    Cheers, genitals!
    • This is a weird post since it wasn’t like we got A’s across the board. We needed a QB and got a consensus top 2 player at that position. (I was pretty vocal that Stroud should’ve been the guy but…)  I think this draft we generally got better value. I’m not particularly optimistic on BY but another year in this offense playing with TMac he really needs to be a consistently average QB at a minimum
