Stadium PA is way too loud

Anywhere in the lower bowl is loud as hell. I’ve felt that way for a long time.

I heard John Ellis mention it on the one panther place podcast and I figured I’d bring up the topic again.

I’m not a season ticket holder but I got called once for a survey after buying some single game tickets(or maybe it was a sales call?)

When I mentioned how loud the PA was the immediately had a rebuttal which feels like they get that a lot.

Who’s in charge of this?

I am. I appreciate your feedback but this seems to be the only time that the lower section of the stadium gets loud. You should drink more beer at the game and this will not be an issue. Please feel free to visit our club lounge section where you can be in our state of the art bubble which will shield you from unwanted loud noises. We all appreciate you creating a thread on this issue, as it is a topic that needs to be addressed here on the Huddle once and for all.

And here I thought I was the only huddler who knew how to do this sort of subtle sarcasm.

Kudos sir.

As someone who has sat in the upper deck for the past 16 years, I appreciate it.

A couple of years back you couldn't here jack in the 500s from the PA system

So I'm betting for everyone complaining in the lower level, there was someone from the upper level complaining they couldn't hear anything

I don't control the volume, but I can tell you this. The louder it is, it helps "disrupt" the other teams offense. It seems louder when the crowd in not loud at all. When the fans are loud the PA system is not loud enough. Not just music, PA, videos, but everything.

Also with video, PA and music, the louder it is, it naturally causes fans to be loud. Plus the speakers are directed towards the stands and they need some of that sound to translate to the field (especially when the other team is sending in plays to the QB).

    • Mel Kiper said he would retire if Jimmy Clausen wasn't a successful NFL starter too. Just because the experts make a claim doesnt mean it's true either.  Bryce may be a serviceable QB for someone. Serviceable QBs don't bring you a perennial winner or lead you to the playoffs over and over. Serviceable QBs also dont get 50m plus per year deals which is what a Bryce extension would look like.  The stats show he hasn't been even a serviceable QB in the 3 years he's been here. The eye test shows he hasn't put together 2 franchise QB salary games back to back in 3 years.  Complain all you want about people being negative, but people pointing out that Bryce is held to a different standard than anyone else on the team isn't complaining. It's stating the obvious.
    • We have big bodied WRs and 3 TEs who all have potential and each bring something different to the table. I never saw the need to go out there and try and find a new starting TE.  While it's nice to have a guy like McBride, Bowers, etc, I think a team's better use of the cap is by having TEs on rookie contracts or cheap vets, not having to pay elite TE money.
    • He had the award until like the last 8 games. He sucked ass and flagg had 3 40 point games
