My expectations for this upcoming season are higher than last season. That said, I can only see playoffs with a lot of things lining up. We need enough of these young players to make a meaningful impact, we need others in our division to falter, and most importantly, we need some luck in keeping this unit relatively healthy throughout the season. At full strength, this team has potential to be scrappy good but we don't have the margin of error others teams do. -

I believe Granlund could be a good fit here in Carolina. Speedy, skilled center who played the same up tempo game the Canes played in Dallas. He won't break the bank either. It's a weak FA class overall when TDA is listed as a Top 50 FA.....or that list just sucks.
