One thing as a long time (since conception) Panthers fan is… The team always does the opposite of “expectations.”

It’s just too simple to win out for a team that has historically always in the end came up short. This is why we are all addicted, the fact we all want to believe so much this is when it will change.

Bucs run D is a lot more stout than the Saints. I think we will run all over NO.

Both are allowing 4.5 ypc.  And Arizona lit up the Bucs on the Ground last night, averaging nearly 6 ypc.  Unfortunately, the Cards passing game was terrible.

Brady. At home. With a chance to clinch the division? To set up a Dallas vs Tom wild card game.

If you think there is any shot we are winning this game against Brady and his zebra crew, I’ve got some oceanfront property at a discount in Iowa for you.

Who'd want to live in Iowa?

(if anyone from Iowa reads this, please don't kill me)

I choose to go full homer mode and believe we will win both games. We might even surprise Dallas in the wildcard game.

We have Dallas’ number, so I will allow myself to fantasize and enjoy thinking of that scenario.

If we actually did come back from 1-4 and everything else to be in a position to send Dallas home (again)?
It would be third best Panther season all time for me ha ha.

Well our passing game is near league worst, as well. If we can't get it done on the ground, it's gonna be a long day for us.

    • After last season, it was the same question. And the answer most people came to was "If he doesn't make the playoffs, he's gone." He made the playoffs. No matter how it was done, we made it to the playoffs. He's safe. He's going to have a chance to keep working this out, even if next season isn't a playoff one.  I think we'll do better next year than we did this season. There's something being built here.
    • The NBA is a very fickle league. Kon is one of the hottest rookies in years and beyond just his play on the court he is a very steady competitor and that translates to the rest of the team. That has been a glaring absence with the culture of this franchise through the bulk of the LaMelo Ball years that's just being completely blunt and realistic. The enigma of LaMelo Ball is he is entering year 6 and still either red hot or ice cold. We need him to find that sweet spot. Logic dictates the Hornets will want to see this core again next year. But the clock is beyond ticking at this point. It's put up or shut up. Especially considering what the Thunder managed to do recently. I'm hopeful they can keep these wins rolling in and get some much needed playoff experience under their belts which will help substantially.
    • I think as long as the Panthers are competitive with Canales they should keep him. Pepper needs to repair his/the teams image as a place prized free agents aren't hesitant to consider. Just dont do any crazy poo for a few years.
