How much to move up to #2 in Draft?

Throw the draft value chart out. Per the chart, our 1st and 3rd. But the Niners spent three 1sts and a 3rd to go to #3 and per the chart it should've taken their 1st, 2nd and maybe a 6th. When it's for a QB and the phone is ringing the bidding goes wild quickly.

I fully expect the Bears to put that pick on the block if teams are clamoring for Young and Stroud.

Not sure how the Draft Value Charts work.. how much would it cost to move up from #9 to #2?

Would our 2nd rounder do the job?

In order to move up for Goff Titans gave up # 15, two 2nds, 3rd and the next seasons 1st and 3rd

in order to move up from #6 to #2. WAS gave up #6 and their next 2 years first round picks for RG3

Too much. Our 1st, Burns and more?

I would rather take a shot on an imperfect and less rated prospect who is paired with a HC with QB grooming abilities. Neither Allen or Mahhomes went top 5. If we had the right coach I would care less that we are not picking top 2.

I don't want to see us do a Lance type trade.

That's the problematic part.

The problematic part is status quo, continuing to dumpster dive for reclamation projects. Can’t be scared to take a shot on someone. If not, we stay where we are for the foreseeable future.

    • just read the thread. I would like to say that the team not being sold to Tepper is an absolute banger of an answer and probably the right one

Initial gut reaction when I first thought of this question is Kasay kicks it in bounds on the kickoff, but unfortunately I still think New England wins that game even with that My second instinct was pulling Bene out before he breaks his leg in the playoffs. My crackpot theory is if he never gets hurt we win the superbowl. I refuse to go back and watch the game but at some point Peyton throw an absolute duck that should have been pick 6'd. but because we were on our like fifth outside corner he was slow to the ball. this would have completely flipped that game because I'm pretty sure Denver scored that drive and the next one was the Cam sack fumble
