Johnson and Steichen are probably the top two OC's available to take a head coaching job. Can't really whelm more than that

Ben Johnson, Detroit Lions offensive coordinator:

The Panthers will interview the North Carolina and Reynolds High School (Asheville) graduate on Wednesday, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero. Johnson completed a virtual interview with the Colts on Friday.

what correlation does a coach being from the area a team is from have when it comes to success?

hell just keep Wilks then??

None.  I'm just tired of hearing about it. It's all a crap shoot and we have zero say in it anyway.  So why not root for a local guy?

I am wondering what a Ben Johnson potential staff will look like if hired...

I watched a Texans podcast because they were talking about Johnson and the dude mentioned that Johnson may target Fangio or Terrell Williams from the Titans for DC and then for the OC he may target Mark Brunell

    • That’s not a bad idea at all. I was really liking the whole cali-style carne asada. We might do that next week instead of enchiladas for the rams. Was planning on: Saints-Gumbo Tampa-Cuban Sandwiches Seattle- Salmon Stew Tampa- Seafood Boil
    • I agree, honestly you can not trade a player that has Balls talent. Just sitting in street clothes FOR years, it doesn't matter if you are averaging 50points on 88% with 18 rebs, 15 asst, 4 stls if you never can play. These are the worst type of players, teasers. Its HIS JOB to get his body in NBA shape and he has proven that he can not. Thus you break the rule about trading top shelf talent. Hell NBA need to have NFL contracts where the full sum isn't guaranteed, you bet your ass if his money was tied to his playing on the court he'd somehow figure out how to stay healthy.   Plus Im a old head, I member when Seth Curry in his 17(Jesus..) year career had ankle problems and guess what, he solved the issues and got all the money, championships, and fame. Ball doesn't have the same drive to figure out his body, he'd rather drive his car on kids feet while rushing home to drive his go-cart on the roof of his condo after missing his 42nd game of the season.....
