She is the team president... of course she is going to be apart of the hiring process. It doesnt mean she is a key decision maker, she is just part of the process.  She has been in role almost a year now.

Her title is Chief Administrative Officer of Tepper Sports and Entertainment -- the parent company that owns the Carolina Panthers and Charlotte FC.

Kristi Coleman has been named the new president of the Panthers,

Both as of 2/1/22

thanks for the clarification on the title. I can't go back and fix. However, my statement holds the same.

Just remember guys… she’s way younger than Tepper and she will likely be our sole owner one day.  I think he’s training her for the future.  Unfortunately, we are in back seat while she’s test driving her first car.  Please buckle up.

Try googling her...I could find nothing.  Nothing about education, career.

As I said in the other thread...I would like to hear that there will be some football people in the room.

Yeah, I don't know. This seems a bit odd for this to be stated.

Talking to your wife about work, getting input, sure. Stating this though?

    • That makes me wonder, how many starting tackles in the NFL and/or elite tackles have short arms? I feel like there’s probably lots of tackles that end up being drafted in later rounds because they had short arms or didn’t have the physical tools.
    • Damn back to 10th. I only caught the last 5 minutes but some of those 3's were horrible lol. In that close of game you can't be launching those many hail mary's when you could be chipping away from the foul line. I guess no one wanted to get in the paint and didn't trust the refs to give them the calls maybe? Gonna watch the highlights to get a better idea of the flow of the game
    • I agree.  The Big 12 is a good conference, and he is the swinging dick in that conference.  If Bill Self retires, that sets Kansas back a bit, and Arizona moves even further ahead as the best team in that conference.  Arizona can crush west coast recruiting with USC / UCLA no longer being relevant for LA kids, and Gonzaga not being able to compete moneywise.   If Lloyd comes here, he will be second fiddle to Duke every single year in NIL and recruits.  Not to mention the entire SEC and Big East for kids who want to stay in those regions to play. This is why I keep saying go get Mark Few.  Has proven he can do more with less from an X / O perspective but can also recruit All American players and compete at a high level. He's a god at Gonzaga, but for $9M he'd make the move as that's 4x what he's making at Gonzaga, and makes him the highest paid coach in the country.
