Pretty cautiously optimistic about this and wasn't my first choice, but thank sweet merciful jesus that it isn't Payton. Definitely prefer this to Wilks as well, especially if he was going to bring Holcomb with him. Will be interested to see what Reich does with the rest of the staff and if he retains anyone from our current one, I'd like for the two huddle fan favorites (Campen and Tabor) to be retained but if he does go in a different direction in that regard hopefully it's a good one.

Better than Wilks or Rhule....

Jesus is this really our bar.

I mean he is offense and you do have to wonder how many saw Rhule’s hired GM standing there with Tep and his wife and  immediately was like damn, f this. I’d have to imagine probably the better candidates that had the most options. Makes logical sense.

eh guess we will see. Hope the DC is good.

Only really settled on Reich when it came down to a choice between he and Wilks.

I do tend to prefer older, more experienced coaches. When I saw the interview pool though, I thought there was no way we'd end up with one.

Surprise, surprise 😐

Pretty surprised, and that's a good thing.  I kinda wanted Ben Johnson, but at the same time, this team is in DIRE need of structure and leadership....I think Frank can provide both.

Will not surprise me in the least to see Carr in a Panthers uni next year with Corral and a vet fighting it out for the no. 2 job.

At worst, we know that Frank Reich is an NFL coach, and one that's offensive minded....we could have done worse...and have.

Now, let's fill out a staff and see if Luke is interested in returning.

The obsession with Wilks by this fanbase for going 6-6 drives me insane.

I love Wilks. He is a true leader and an extremely respectable man.

That said, I just didn't think he was the right choice to be a head coach with offenses the way they are in the NFL right now.

Wish there was a way we could keep him but I understand.

    • Winning games and be a +500 team are good. But the goal is to win Super Bowl.  Chiefs had Alex Smith, went to playoff twice and still replaced him.   BY as of now: - To many fumbles - Completion in the intermediate range is just far below acceptable - Not enough of a deep throw threat....   The stats you try use is deceiving.  Catchable......  That is an opinion. Show me the completion %. And also, how does BY compare to other QBs using the stats you cited. Oh... ranked at 27

    • The Entitlement Paradox: When Winning Isn't Enough for Panther fans.    Just the other season(s) we were praying for wins by any means. Brought in every run of the mill QB you could think of.  We know all sides of the ball was bad like egregious bad. However some how we have won 5 games and TOXIC ENTITLEMENT has emerged.    We are a team that has to take wins by anymeans nothing has changed. Keep pounding means it aint gonna be perfect!!    Some panther fans have now developed a toxic entitlement where even victories feel insufficient, demanding flawless performance, or perfection, which stems from historical success in which we dont have any lol. This mindset poisons communities by fostering relentless criticism, harassment, and ingratitude that undermine team morale and alienate casual supporters. For the new Carolina Panthers, this could manifest as fans booing Bryce Young after gritty wins for low passing yards despite low turnovers, pressuring tepper into premature changes mid-rebuild, or driving away talent through online abuse!! eroding the positive momentum from their recent 4-game streak has brought us. Trust and believe the players do see your toxicity.    Anyways here are some positive stats.      Most Accurate QB on... 20+ Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (79.2%) 2. Sam Darnold (79.2%) 3. Bryce Young (75.0%) 10-19 Yard Throws 1. Jaxson Dart (88.0%) 2. Jayden Daniels (82.9%) 3. Drake Maye (80.7%) 0-9 Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (92.9%) 2. Spencer Rattler (92.6%) 3. Bryce Young (91.7%) @FantasyPtsData
