Jourdan Rodrique said, knowing Evero and his tendencies that Evero may use Chinn in a hybrid role similar to Jalen Ramsey. they pretty much created a position for him and put him in a lot of different roles.

We willl most likely use him as Buffalo did Micah Hyde or Honey Badger with every team he played for.

Barno, that’s the guy I forgot his name. Yea I think both of them could work really well at OLB opposite Burns.

Based on what Jordan Rodrigue said on the pod with Julian Council, she thinks we would a “power rusher” opposite Burns since he’s more of a pure speed rusher. Barno probably backs Burns up in that role

We’re gonna be gashed by running backs next season.

Eh probably initially. Even when Haasan Reddick was here that happened. It will take some time and there will be some lumps but if Fitterer nails the draft that could negate some of the growing pains.

ESPN graded YGM the 8th best edge defender in the NFL last year in run stop win rate.

YGM will be able to play the DE role in a 34, at 6'5 280lbs YGM is bigger than the majority of the DEs that play on the Rams, Packers, Chargers, Vikings, Dolphins and Seahawks - who all ran 3-4 last year.

Brandon Smith is going to be the ideal ILB for us. 6'4 240 and he has wheels while being a big boy.

Could be an even better fit at 3-4 OLB based on his size/speed combo.

Barno is another exciting prospect at 3-4 OLB.

We are going to have to beef up at iLB for this scheme so they can take on iOL and stack/shed blocks. Chinn actually has the frame (6’3” 220lbs) to make that conversion, just needs to add 15-20 lbs like TD did.

I have a feeling Brown, Burns and YGM will thrive in this defense. If we can get a true NT that fits this scheme in the draft and FA, we’re going to be really good.

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
