QB breakdowns by Josh McCown

I think Young is the best QB and has it all.  Intelligent, athletic, arm, legs, turns negative plays into positive ones.  I think he is very mature and if Alabama didn't have him last year they probably would have had a 4-5 loss season.

Stroud is good, but I am not sure he reads the field as well as Young does.  Can he get better?  Yes, but he's behind Young in that department and I don't know if the instincts Young shows are things Stroud can acquire.

It's nice to have options though....unless we do trade with the Texans.

You say clear cut without any question but that's obviously not true.  There's plenty of questions and they are reflected in the different preferences/rankings

Beyond size/durability concerns, what questions are you seeing regarding Young?

Going back to the combine interviews, I love both guys. Bryce is very humble and shy, Stroud came out like an alpha but in a respectable way. Levis reminds me of a jock from revenge of the nerds. Just some things to think about for locker room chemistry. I'll take Stroud if it's coming down to a leadership situation

McCown says that Young’s “size, frame and athleticism are a major concern.” McCown is also highly complimentary of Young on virtually everything else required in an elite QB prospect.

There are no perfect draft picks.  It’s up to the talent evaluators and coaches to weigh the pluses and minuses and assess the net ‘score’ on each candidate.  I have confidence in this administration to do so.

I think Dak is CJ's floor. If he never improves, he will be as good as Dak Prescott. Which is not bad and a safe #1 pick, but you'd hope for more. Its up to our staff to get the most of him, by all accounts he seems coachable.

If a team knew a QB would be, at his absolute worst, as good as Dak Prescott, he would go #1 overall every single year.

If true there is simply no way you can draft that.

There is no way his playing weight will be above 190....I love his game, for the most part, but he just simply too small.

The moment I heard about the trade, I was thinking Young would be the guy....but the more I think on it...it's gotta be CJ.

Either way, we got something to look forward to for a while....feels....different.

Where's the AR breakdown???

I would love to see McCrown take on AR's pump fake TD throw.

If the draft started today, AR-15 would be the pick, I like Young, hell I like CJ, but AR is that generational talent and I believe this staff is good enough to take him to the next level.

Tape doesn't lie either, yes he's raw, but his highlight reel compare to the others is just amazing. I mean those special never before seen moments.

Sidenote...We lose Jerry RICHARDSON the same year we draft Anthony RICHARDSON, god's plan.

I feel like I am going to be picking on Bryce Young all the way up until draft day.  With a little perspective and hindsight, the guy is not who I thought he was.  Here is another play that is part of a long pattern with him.  CJ Stroud would have hit this receiver for an easy completion and people would be talking about how CJ is lucky to throw to receivers who are always open by 4 yards.  Bryce actually takes off running on this play!!!  WTF?

What kind of quarterback he wants

"A really good one. There's all different kind of guys that come in all shapes and sizes. But to me, it's an ongoing conversation we've had over the last couple days. It's about who fits into this system, being selfless from a mentality standpoint, but also having a point guard mentality. Being able to distribute the ball to your playmakers. And on third down, red zone, two-minute, go play Superman."

I missed this post but that to me sounds a lot like Bryce Young if that’s the thinking
