Thoughts on signing Frank Clark?

Frank Clark would be the perfect DE to put opposite of Burns. He's only 29 years old and still in the prime of his career. Having a vet with championship experience would be huge for this defense. We had that guy with Haason Reddick and we let him walk. Burns still needs another running mate to take pressure off him. Clark is exactly that kind of player who can also get after the QB.

I love the idea but it’s hard for me to see an older veteran coming off two super-bowls wins later in his career choosing our rebuilding situation which looks good to us and I do believe we’re going places soon. But doesn’t his situation really lean towards a true contender who’s fighting for a ring this year.

For the last time we are not rebuilding!

 

Look at our roster it's not in rebuild mode. We are in position to win this division if we hit on the QB. I have no idea why people still think we are rebuilding. Thielan said he signed here because we are competing for a championship. Look at our team nothing about it says rebuild.

Would rather sign Leonard Floyd. History with Ejiro and new defensive scheme, more productive and less of a character risk.

Hard pass for me. Dude will disappear for games on end, it's maddening how inconsistent he is. I would be all in on Floyd.
