O’Cyrus Torrence in the 2nd round?

With a shorter QB, G has a higher value than normal. Would it be worth looking at Torrence with our second rounder? Is he that good? I didn’t see many Florida games so I don’t know.

He's been compared to Larry Warford. A 3-time pro-bowler would be a nice pickup in the 2nd, but I agree, he probably won't be there.

Torrence has been built up to be something that he is not.  If we want a top notch guard I think the kid out of TCU (Avila) is the way to go.

I agree the interior offensive line now becomes more valuable than it is for most teams, New Orleans invested a whole lot of money in their interior during Brees’ stint.

You've got Torrence with Avila not far behind as viable interior linemen.  And aside from a few centers and Mauch, there is a cliff and it's one of the worst OL classes you'll ever see.

Jaguars have been tied to Torrence in R1 but if not there, he could slide into the 2nd.

For all the talk about giving our new QB1 weapons, if the selection is Young, a top tier G with a mean streak is far more important than a WR or TE.  You have to be upright before you can throw the ball.

Mid round pick for OL. And I've thought for whoever the QB is we should be looking to add to it every draft now that we've got it kind of set. Target a round 3-5 to add beef to it.

Would be a great get at 39 but very very unlikely he'll be on the board there. Someone in the 20's will take him like the Ravens and he'll be named to three pro bowls in the next five years. That's why teams like that win

This would be a really good pick too. I'm a firm believer Rounds 2-3 is when you add iDL.
