We need to consistently draft olineman because Bryce is going to need it. So I hope we pick a lineman today. I have no clue wtf Tepper was talking about that we can focus on defense because Bryce can do more with less. We need to support and protect him.

The Panthers should not repeat the Cam mistakes again. Give him a top Oline and weapons to go along with the defense.

Yeah. I would rather we suck on defense then getting our #1 overall pick killed. the chiefs invest heavily in the oline year after year after year. Both our guards had pretty serious injuries to end the year. I like Cade mays a lot but drafting another guard or tackle would be wise.

Yeah, I'm with you guys on the mess Tepper was saying. I hope we don't go back down that dark hole.  Tepper needs to allow the Front office and coaches  to do their job. Stop pushing his agenda on them and let them think freely. We must protect Bryce by all means necessary.

Already said they were going to do that. Lol

Drafting a point guard qb allows them to spend less on offense and spend more on defense. Came right out of the owners mouth.

bpa: Michael Mayer TE, Darnell Washington TE, Luke Musgrave TE, Joey Porter CB, BJ Ojulari Edge, O'Cyrus Torrance OG. No need to panic and trade down. Plenty of talent left. I think the TE class is so deep you might even wait on that position.  I would take Porter or Ojulari if they are available.  Torrance is a stud guard that could help Bryce. Plenty of options.

Brian Branch and Michael Mayer are the best players left and clearly have a talent gap above the rest of the players remaining, you could probably throw Joey Porter Jr. in there as well

Naturally they all probably go picks 1 2 and 3 tonight

If however one of them is there at 39 that would be my pick no hesitation.

If none of those guys fall I want us to trade down a few spots.

Tepper kind of tipped our hand last night basically saying we were targeting defense with the pick and we have a glaring hole at edge and Fitty has said multiple times they are targeting it and even considered trading back up for one (god I wish we could have gotten Nolan Smith)

So that being said I think we end up with BJ Ojulari at 39

im not too familiar with 3-4 and who would fit better to have a guy slide to a better role.

but in terms of talent Branch and Sanders are just great players that will find a way on the field and contribute no matter what.

I do not think a WR left brings anything to the table we do not already have.

OG - few guys out there that can be long term players and I wouldnt be upset if we took, but we also like our Gs. I do no think we should draft just because someone might not be ready to start the year.

    • There's a lot of guys with all the tools you look for that could be in 2025.  Thing is, their in-game ability to take command of an offense has only shown in flashes. And they have their flaws. Carson Beck 6'4 220, above avg to great arm strength, great size, another UGA product or more? Shedeur Sanders 6'2 215, above avg arm, playmaker.. is a diva presence a legit issue? Drew Allar 6'5 240 lively, monster arm - outstanding measurables and tools.  Stuck in a bad offense/can he show more in big moments? Quinn Ewers 6'2 205, above avg arm strength, showed some iffiness - big year ahead Jalen Milroe 6'2 220, dual threat, great arm ... can he pull it together this year? Cameron Ward 6'2 225, great arm, pocket presence, can be too aggressive but has a lot to love
